"This property was such a gem. But what really made it was the entire family staff. They are some of the most genuine, sincere and hospitable people that truly do whatever they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They treat you like family. I really can’t speak enough about how great this place is. Don’t forget to try the restaurant across the street either. Food was great with the same familial, hospitable feel. This was our favorite experience out of our Greece trip"

"Funky classic mid-century modern hotel. Clean. Decent breakfast. Central. Would recommend. The town of Lamia was an unexpected delay: I just stayed here as the nearest place to Thermopylae, but it is an engaging and lively town with lots of good restaurants and pubs."

"Room was nice although the toilet seat was very cheap. Staff was very friendly. Food was cafeteria style and very crowded in dining room. Definitely seemed like a family oriented place with lots of children. We actually didn't feel great after the breakfast. Nothing bad."

"If you’re wondering whether to book this place, just do it! It was our favorite part of our trip to Greece. It is located in a quiet fishing village. The views are amazing. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine in the evenings. The hosts are so kind and helpful. We looked forward to breakfast every morning that included plenty of coffee and options for all dietary needs. They even had a juicer and fruits and vegetables for fresh juice. Each room has designated loungers by the water, and we spent plenty of time relaxing there. Many thanks to the family and staff that hosted us!!"

"We had the most amazing time in Achinos at Michael’s villa. The pictures don’t even come close to showing how beautiful it really is! Michael was always around to help with any questions and had so many great recommendations. He and his wife are such wonderful hosts. The villa is gorgeous, and the village has everything you need — a supermarket and some lovely restaurants all within walking distance. My nephew even learned to kite surf at a nearby camp, which was such a highlight! The beaches are stunning and everyone we met was so kind and welcoming.Thank you, Michael, for an unforgettable week in your beautiful villa. "The place is beautiful but that’s about it. We didn’t know you needed swim caps to get in pool. Not very friendly about that or anything else. Like a ghost town and average age is 80. Which is fine unless you have children like we do."
