“We had an amazing time at the purple door! We wrre able to brimg our fur baby which was a HUGE plus. After reading the reviews I wasn't sure what to expect. I arrived knowing we made a good choice. Its a very cute little place. There was never a claim to be a luxury, upscale rental. Yes there could be a few updates. The air conditioner worked fine for us in a heatwave. In fact, it was a little chilly. I would go back for the views and location.We loved havimg access to the pools. Met some really……

“The property is beautiful and every space is very spacious and comfortably appointed. It is isolated but at the same time very close to Walmart and Food Lion, and just 15 minutes away from Wallops, and 30 from Chincoteague. The kitchen was extremely well supplied, including cooking oil, salt and other conveniences that we have seldom found in rentals (we had actually brought our own). “This house was absolutely perfect for our stay! Very cozy and had everything we needed. We were in town for a softball tournament and the house was located so close to the fields so we were able to go back and fourth between games. The hosts were very responsive and polite. Highly recommend! ”
