“The host and staff were amazing. Came to luray to propose as we love hiking together. And while i took my now finance out for dinner, the staff helped place rose petals and candles around the room with champagne and strawberries as i had requested. Did even better then i imagined. She was so surprised and happy and it's all thanks to the staff. Really helped make it extra special ”

“We loved our stay here. The property was super clean and quiet. The hot tub and grill both worked as advertised. One thing worth mentioning is that the last mile of road in is a single lane, gravel road, that not only crosses through what appears to be a creek but is also quite steep and rocky. While we managed in a Tesla model 3, I wouldn’t advise it, particularly if it is wet. ”

“Appreciated the great communication the host provided. We REALLY appreciated just how clean the cabin was. It was such a nice cabin to stay in for a quick 2-night get-away. It was the perfect layout and size for a cozy place for just the two of us. Hot tub was wonderful (and so clean!!!). The firepit with logs provided was amazing - something we do not have back home, and my husband really enjoyed building a fire both nights. “Very convenient location. Fantastic view from the expansive covered porch. Very clean and well appointed inside. We stayed here just before closing on a new house in the area, and the convenience and layout was perfect. If we had been here on leisure, I can see how this cottage would also be perfect for exploring the nearby national park and wine country. Communication with the host was very prompt and helpful. They even went out their way to help me retrieve a small item I left behind. ……

Quick trip to Monticello and stopped on way north at New River Gorge Bridge walk and stopped at Waltons Museum in Schuyler on the way home. Really enjoyed the stay. Everything you need for a relaxing weekend. Stop by Flotzies for some great ice cream. ”
