It was a short 30 minute walk to the City Center in a great area with lots of nice restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The room had beautiful huge windows and the beds were comfortable.
The check in and out was very handy no issues. The room was clean and very comfortable and had everything you needed. In a great location with a bus stop into town literally right across the road- the hosts were on site if needed!
The guest house was great for what i needed. Location was perfect - lots of buses that stop right outside and take you directly up to the city centre, but also easily walkable as well. The guest house is also close to the start of trails for Arthur’s Seat. It was very easy to check in and check out, and the guest house was super clean.
I cannot really put into words how perfect this guesthouse was. I came to Edinburgh to see the Fringe and i must say the Bloosom Guest House was fantastic and exactly what I needed
Thank you for accomodating us! Your place is near to the city centre making it easier for us to go around Edinburgh. Your place is safe, quiet and clean! We had a lovely stay!
The hotel was ideally situated for us as we were travelling on a budget and don't mind walking or using public transport. The room was clean & tidy, and it had everything we needed. The host is welcoming and friendly.

Nice owners! It’s a bit out of the way but bus stops are very close. Mattress very firm. Small shower. Dated room. Overall we really enjoyed our stay because we were only needing a place to sleep and shower. I definitely would stay again. It feels very safe here. Restaurants are down the road about 5-10 minute walk. 30 minute walk to Royal mile/Princess. Bus is like 5 minutes from the main areas.
We had a great time staying here. It was clean, there were freebies like teas, coffee, shampoo and conditioner.. There towels and blow dryer as well and water heater. There were nice and accommodating I highly recommend it.. Also, they allowed us to leave out luggages for awhile after our check out time to enjoy the rest of the day.

Very friendly host(ess) .
Limited off street parking
No en suite toilet.
We had a room that looked out over the main road. It gets a little stuffy at night, so we had to open the windows. This made it rather noisy, but otherwise it's a good place to stay. It's clean, comfortable, and walking distance from most things.

Very good location, easy access to transportation, area safe and walkable.
Would like to have had a shelf in the shower to hold shampoo/soap, etc.
A chair in the room would have been nice.

The location of this place was very good. About a mile to the Royal Mile, Castle and Market. Good choices of restaurants in walking distance.
1 of the smallest places I've ever stayed at. I'm 6'0" and I barely fit in the shower. Hardly any room for our luggage without tripping over it.
The people running the place were so great. So friendly. Always available for any issues we had. Their 1 son was even an Uber driver which made things very convenient.

Disliked: Room comfort
stay satisfactory, almost everything as expected
- Rooms were small as expected, bathroom even smaller (for some people definitely too small.
- the location is excellent, to the Royal Mile 10 minutes by bus, 25 on foot
.
The landlord was very friendly, helpful and had good suggestions for activities, restaurants, etc.
- parking on the ground available, not free
- too expensive compared to other guest houses in the immediate vicinity
This guest house was very nice, with a great position and a very good service! The room was cleaned everyday, which I didn't expect for a guest house, and it's very close to the most important attractions! With a 20 minute walk you can reach the Royal Mile. Also, the area is well served by buses, so you can go anywhere in the easiest way. The room was a little bit tight for three people, a closet or more room for our belongings would have been great, but overall it was a very nice staying. Thank you! Also, loved the window!
It's a little away from the city centre, about 25 minutes on foot, and I walked most days. The bus stop is right outside if you don't want to walk and buses run frequently so no problem there. The bathroom was small but clean and people were quiet helpful. No lifts, but they'll give you a hand with the luggage if you ask. They don't serve breakfast but there are plenty of shops nearby. I was a solo female traveller and sometimes left very early in the morning when it still dark and nobody was about, and i felt quite safe. All in all, no complaints, Edinburgh hotels are expensive and this place was good at the price.

Edinburgh is a relatively expensive city for accommodation, so I assume Blossom Guest House is in line with its cost. There was no breakfast. The room (family) was provided free, when I had booked an ordinary double room. My only negative concerns the provision of a small table and one chair, which was awkward for dining.
The hosts were friendly, but I was surprised to be told shortly before checkout that the time to leave was between 10am to 11am.
