Everyone was so amazing!! Kevin, Emma, Joaquin, and others. Grounds were stunning to walk. Love the highland cows. It's like staying in a museum, so much history. Joaquin gave us a mini tour. King Charles has been there, Ben Franklin was a friend of 2 of the owners. There is a ballroom which was the stables that can be rented. So many portraits that are all original and previous residents. Has 23 rooms, very quiet. Stay at least one night. So worth it!!

The property was charming, the rich colours flowed throughout. Beautifully designed. Breakfast was very good and the views out of the windows from the restaurant to the highland cows and Colin the peacock. Bed/bedding not the most comfortable although spend of looking. Very quirky.

The staff was exceptional. We arrived early before our room was ready and the staff took care of our luggage and directed us to a delightful afternoon tea while we waited. We blew an electrical breaker trying to use an American hairdryer and they promptly got the electricity fixed. They were very flexible with dinner reservations, working around our daytime activities.
