Although there was only 4 of us this home would be the perfect place for a larger group. The main level has a large open kitchen, dining, and great room that wouldn't feel crowded. Also, located just steps from the beach the location can't be beat.

We had a wonderful vacation at MiMi’s by the Sea. It was our second year here. My family loves the house. They have everything you need. The location is perfect. A quick walk to the beach. We enjoyed the pool in the afternoon after a day at the beach. We love this house and hope to return next year. Great memories made here.

Was perfect for all the kids. Great location to the beach and the pool was a big hit after the beach day. We had a fabulous time. Two 6 month olds and three 5 year olds and two 2 year olds and one nine year old couldn’t have gotten any better. All the adults had a great time too. The house could be updated a little but didn’t have to worry about messing anything up. Deck and porch where fabulous.

MiMis was great! The location was wonderful. Edisto Beach is dreamy as always. It fit all 16 of us just fine and we never felt crowded. The only thing that would have made it better is a better management company. Vacasa was a nightmare to work with if you had any questions leading up the stay but the frustration was more than worth it because the house and area was absolute perfection!

Upon arriving the bad odor inside was horrible. Had to use air freshener and air out. Found tat droppings in pantry( the did offer to come spray) to top it off after hauling our cooler etc upstairs I see they have a life and that was not offered. No way to treat a disabled veteran or anyone of age

Great family and dog friendly beach house. Porches had great views and plenty of seating for hanging out. The public access to the beach was literally steps away so getting to the beach was very easy. The pool was wonderful after being on the beach. We used it multiple times each day. Plenty of space in the common areas for our family. Well stocked kitchen. Area under the house had plenty of space to store beach chairs and wagons. Kids enjoyed playing ping pong. My family loved this property and would stay here again. Edisto is a great family beach.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was great for our three families. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. Unfortunately the dishwasher did not clean the dishes at all, so we had to hand wash. There were also some broken cabinets and closers, but that did not affect our stay. It was perfect for large groups with kids!

This is a great location, right across the street from the beach, and we loved the pool and that they are pet friendly however, the house needs a deep cleaning and a good clean out of stuff. It was clean but needs deep cleaning like ceiling fans, window sills, blinds, lamp shades, baseboards, etc. Also, too many personal items taking up needed cabinet and closet space and gave a cluttered feel. Vanities, drapes, nightstands, kitchen cabinets need updating. Did appreciate the hooks on the bathroom doors!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is fine for a family vacation. It was not especially clean and the carpets needed cleaning. Kitchen was well equipped but the dishes had to be cleaned before using and the dishwasher door was crooked. There was also a hole in the cabinet floor under the kitchen sink. Would not re rent.

We enjoyed vacation spending time with family and playing in the pool, however for the money that it costs to rent this house it should be in a little better shape. The front of the kitchen cabinets are cracked and held together with tape, the fabric on the arms of the couches are ripped, the floor in the kitchen and the living room is separating and curling up, some kitchen chairs and barstools are very wabbly, vacuum doesn’t work, etc. We have been renting this house for the better part of ten years and most of the furniture is the same from the original time we rented it. Just seems that with all the money this house is bringing in, a few upgrades could be done to make it a better place to stay. We will be using our money to find somewhere else to rent next year.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented knowing the house was not beach front but did not realize the 1st street off the beach was on a 4 lane road. Although the porch was large with many comfortable rocking chairs, the traffic noise killed the tranquility. I could not really enjoy the beach sounds: waves, beach birds, etc. Also, the location was pretty close to the commercial/ pier end of the strip. The beach was steep with a severe drop off. Not good for walking. We drove down to the other end of the strip about 2 miles to find a pretty beach to take family pictures. Because we were all together as a family, the house and the beach were fine, but if I went to Edisto again on a family vacation, I would choose a house farther down the beach and pick one that is actually on the beach.

Mimi's is a cozy little nest - you can tell that it is well-loved and that the owners/family spends lots of time there. We enjoyed being together, especially on the porches, but the house feels tight and full of personal things... Too much personal decor/tons of stuff in the cabinets (some are even locked) very little pantry space, a small fridge, and hardly any room for any of our things (except all over the counter tops) No dish cloths for washing dishes/ wiping up ( a small sponge, maybe?) The nightstand in the bunkroom was very wobbly and felt like it could fall apart, also the drawer was full of personal things - we wished for hangers in the closet - there was alot of cozy blankets, plenty of pillow and towels. It felt tight for our group - especially the very small, shared bathrooms.
