Great Visit with 8 People.

A large home with 6 bedrooms and 6 baths. This would be a great place for families who might use the pool and play volley ball. Wonderful table for playing games and cards. Three working TVs for separate viewings. Enjoy!

Absolutely amazing

This is our 6th year going to Edisto as a family and our 2nd year of staying at Just Breathe. We will not stay any where else. This home is so equipped that all you have to do is bring your clothes and family. Brittany at Edisto Beach Vacation Rentals is an absolute dream to work with. Just Breathe and enjoy the ocean air!

This house was perfect for our family! Enough bedrooms, beds and bathrooms for all of us.....and private bathrooms for the adult couples. The porches and decks, front and back, were perfect for sitting in or out of the sun any time of the day. The fenced in private back yard was a plus. And to top it off, an in-ground pool was a great addition. I knew it would be good for the kids when not on the beach, but everyone loved it! Just the right size and depth. I'm 5'9", and I could stand at the deep end with just my head and neck above the water. We plan to meet at Edisto Beach again in a couple of years, and hopefully this house will be available then. We all loved it!

First Visit to Edisto

And we hope to make it a tradition. From the moment we made our reservation, Edisto Beach Vacation Rentals kept us well informed on all the details from check in to local events and attractions. Just Breathe was an amazing house in the most perfect of locations, just a short walk across Palmetto Boulevard to the beach. We were also within walking distance to amazing restaurants and local shops, yet our street was quiet with very little traffic. The house was impeccably clean, comfortable and well appointed. We spent hours at the beautiful pool. enjoyed spirited volleyball games in the backyard as well as board games and movies in the wonderful entertainment area on the ground level. Just Breathe is a beautiful house that gave us plenty of space for family time and quiet time. I am already counting down the days to our next visit to Just Breathe and Edisto.

Just Breathe!!

We have been coming to Edisto since 1988 and have never had a better experience than at Just Breathe! The communication process was flawless. I had 2 questions before I arrived and the responsiveness was great. The checkin was all automated and worked equally flawless. Then we opened the door! WOW is an understatement. The house was clean. The furniture and decor were updated and modern. Each of the 6 bedrooms were good sized with ample closet and dresser space for a weeks worth of belongings. The kitchen had EVERYTHING you could need (including a slap chop ;)). The fridge was new and clean and there was a counter top ice maker! The ocean was a very short walk away from a nice beach access. And the POOL!!! Perhaps the most under rated area is the outside TV room. It allowed the early risers to go downstairs/outside and be entertained without bothering the rest of the house. What a wonderful week!

We Love 'Just Breathe'

We got a phone call on the way down saying that the renters before us had broken the luggage lift and it wouldn't be repaired until the following day. I am 70 and my husband 78 so we really depend on that lift. We didn't want our grown children to have to carry up their luggage AND ours, too. When we arrived, Richard and Mary were at the house (in the heat and humidity) repairing the lift. They didn't have to do that on a Sunday, but they did! It was repaired and we used it moving our things in and out at the end of our week. MANY THANKS!!! Also the upstairs thermostat went out during our stay. A quick call to Brittany and she got the ball rolling for it to be fixed in a few hours. We LOVE this beach house and we really appreciate those that are caring for it and us.

This is our 7th year vacationing at Edisto. We have stayed at two houses, 4 years at one house and 3 years at Just Breathe. Our family will never stay at any other house because once you step in the door you absolutely can “just breathe”. The house is absolutely gorgeous. The owners maintain this house incredibly. Every year they have added something new. We absolutely love this house and it fits our needs so well.

This is our fifth year coming to Edistow as a family. We have stayed in the same house for the five years. We switch to just breathe this year and we will certainly continue renting this home. When you walk in you feel like you can do just that and that is to just breathe.

Impeccably clean, beautiful home for a large group

Our party had a fantastic, relaxing time at "Just Breathe." We were blessed with near perfect (though HOT) weather, and had the opportunity to enjoy most of what the property had to offer. Notes to future renters that may not be clear in the description: - the kitchen is tremendously well-stocked with everything you'd need to cook for a large group including utensils of every kind and plates enough for a small army - There's amply parking beneath the property to shelter as many as four vehicles...it's also a great hang-out area, where there's also another TV - Proximity to the beach is great! It's a very short walk to get to public beach access and we found it very easy to haul all our gear to the sand (pop-up tents allowed) - A big part of our decision to stay here was the pet-friendly property and beaches of Edisto Beach; the fences in yard of the property was a real plus for us Minor items of feedback: - the grill was in need of a quick cleaning prior to use, which was no big deal - not much can be done about the pool temperature (hot) when the high temps have been in the mid-90s during the day and the water cannot cool much at night; we still enjoyed it even though it was not cool Moreover, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at "Just Breathe" and would recommend/return. As stated in the review title, the place was incredibly clean upon arrival, and very well presented. We did not even use a couple of the bedrooms other than to store our empty luggage for the week. Thank you for a great stay!

Another World

A fabulous two weeks in Edisto. You can’t dictate the weather and we had sub freezing temps to start, but wow, the weather over Christmas week was unbelievable. From sunrise walks on the beach to daily excursions to the beach this is a beach vacation and just what a beach vacation is… sand, great local seafood, dive bars for lunch, a Food Lion that has everything you need, and a wonderful time. The best beach house for a relaxing enjoyable time away.

Spacious, modern, clean and we'll thought out. Just Breathe is just about perfect.

From new furniture, countertops, cabinets and bunk beds, Just Breathe makes a weeks vacation something special. It has easily accommodated our family of 6 adults and 5 kids for the past 3 years. Open living, dining and kitchen makes gathering easy. All rooms and bathrooms have been clean and comfortable. Just one block from the beach access, private pool, wifi, and many, many more amenities. Just Breathe has been one of the best rentals we have stayed in at Edisto. We look forward to returning each year.

Just Breathe was a perfect retreat for the week. The home was beautiful and well equipped. Communication with the company was great. The home layout worked great for little kids as the upstairs can be closed off by a door. The pool was lovely and well heated even on a chilly day. We had a great stay!

Amazing Christmas Vacation

We adored our time at Just Breathe at Edisto! From the moment that we booked the property, the communication was amazing and super professional. I loved how we got everything we needed by email and we were super prepared for what to bring and what to expect when we came. The house was spacious with all the rooms, the living room, and the kitchen. Honestly, the pictures did not do it justice for how spacious the place is. The beds were comfortable (a little firm, but our group prefers firmer) and everyone loved that they had their own rooms. The kitchen was stocked really well. We prepared to bring food to cook, so the only thing that we were not prepared for was not having storage containers to keep food in if we had leftovers. We adored the huge dining table to eat at along with play games and puzzle! We all loved the big tubs in the master bedrooms. I would say that you need to space out your showers and baths because the water would get cold. We did have some shower head issues, but we communicated to the company and they immediately sent someone out to fix it. Top notch response communication and response time! We were so close to the beach and that was extraordinary. We had a great view from all the porches and spent the majority of the time at the beach but were able to get home in just a minute walk. Our fur babies LOVED the home, especially the fenced in back yard, and the closeness to the beach. For those that have dogs, you know how hard it is to sometime travel with dogs, and this company made it super convenient and dog friendly. Overall, we had an amazing trip, from the communication, to the comfortability, and the convenience. We will definitely be booking again with this company. Thank you!!

Delightful family vacation

What a delightful week we had at Just Breathe. I have been coming to Edisto Beach since I was a child and will soon be 75. Just Breathe is the best vacation home that I have ever rented, including some at Jeremy Cay. It’s large enough for family reunions, clean and well kept. I love the hardwood floors throughout. The pool is an added bonus. Although we only paid to have it heated for two days we really enjoyed it. There was a minor issue when we arrived that was taken care of immediately. Richard Howse is very nice to work with and quick to take care of any issues. And I forgot to mention that the rental is pet friendly. Hopefully we will be able to stay in this lovely home again. The only thing that could possibly make it any better would be an elevator for us old folks. 😊
