「We stayed in the studio cottage. It is with good ambiance and very spacious unit with full stocked kitchen facilities. The sea view is excellent and all made our stay very pleasant. There was a recent ownership transition and check in was through a phone call. We booked another unit originally with welcome gift and that was changed and we only found out after checking in. The new owner called and apologised and promised some compensation but never heard again. There was no instruction on WiFi...

「We absolutely would recommend "The Lodge" as your base while visting Stanley.The lodge was beautifully decorated with a quirkiness which we loved.The sunroom with its big windows framed our water views.The viewing platform for seeing the penguins at dusk was just a quick 5 minute stroll from "The Lodge" and we were able to walk around most of the quaint town and explore all its eateries and shops.」

「This property was in a great location. We hardly used the car during our stay and enjoyed walking everywhere. It was so well decked out and had everything we could possibly need. So many lovely pictures and personal touches. I would definitely love to stay here again!」

「We wanted to visit the Tarkine and this proved the perfect base. Spacious and cosy with easy to operate wood fire, good kitchen with full size fridge.Lots of thoughtful touches made this a very pleasant stay.」

「Generally, very good. To improve, it will be good to provide instruction on how to deal with rubbish bins. Also, there is problem to communicate with host as this is a non-wotif property and host message to me through the managing agent (website) is lost. I have to contact the host direct to found out they actually gave me messages. 」

「Uninterrupted views of the ocean. Loved the barrel fire pot on the veranda. Didn't need it, but just lovely to be out there. Great place for an extended family to hang out, beachcombing, fishing or just sitting with a wine and a good book. Its got it all, and all the things you need if the weather gets wild and woolly.....didn't happen in our case. 」

「Ours is a return visit to Mount View. We wanted to come back for a longer stay. The house and its location are superb. We enjoyed the peacefulness and remoteness of the landscape and the home is 11 out of 10. It is full of generosity, quality and thoughtfulness from the design to all the appliances and provisions that make your stay easy and enjoyable. 「This is a spectacular and stunningly comfortable home in a stunning garden in a lush wildlifey forest which epitomises Australia. You'll struggle to find time for the tourist attractions. Just be comfy with log fires, plush furniture and a fern forest garden with pure freshwater creeks with yabbies, wallabies and birdlife you'd seldom see. Claire - the host - will show you round and then chat or vanish as needed but it's her home, she built it, and knows heaps.」
