“It was not a very bad hotel but it happened to have some car event outside the hotel at the carpark and so we were not able to get a parking space. And I heard that these events happened all the time so just in case if you are bumping into one of there it’s gonna be a big trouble ( terrible traffic and no parking space till 10pm)”

“Charming little pub with lots of cool original features. Large bedroom and a comfortable bed. Everything works really well. Now, the food at this place is honestly on another level. I have never had any food inside a pub this good. This pub is well known for serving up some of the best food. Locals are highly complimentary about the dining experience here.”

“The staff were friendly and welcoming and the room was perfect. We stayed on after checkout and used the facilities in the bar and had a walk around the estate. Breakfast was great and overall our stay was amazing.”

“Very cozy and comfortable location. What a great experience when you finished the wine tasting your at Denbies vineyard and walked back to the farmhouse! Enjoyed a lot the sunrise view over the vineyard. It's just spectacular.”

“What a fabulous place to stay. All the little touches to make one feel special. Staff fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Love the colour schemes. All so restful and inviting. Rooms were sparkling and the food quite delicious. Dorking is very lucky to have such a wonderful place to stay/eat and relax ”

“Had a great stay atvyhe Hurtwood. Found it by chance. Great village with plenty of walking direct in to the Surrey Hills as directed by the lovely lady who checked us in. Room very comfortable with fresh milk provided. We found the car park easy for a big car, but would not be so easy in season I think. Dinner in the bar was excellent and good portions. Breakfast cooked to order also great. Will go again. Thank you.”

“This is my very first time to take bath in bedroom. It is extremely relaxing. The room is comfy enough for you to feel like home. The breakfast is also very nice with good presentation. Highly recommended for couple!”

“Top quality food. Steak & Ale pie to die for and excellent fish & chips. Great breakfast with quality produce. Brilliant selection of ales. Old fashioned English Inn with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Tidy room with a modern en-suite shower room. Bed not to our liking but that's very much a personal choice. In a very quiet location with no shops nearby but would recommend for an overnight stay.”

“Lovely staff , but extra charges on arrival for parking that wasn’t informed about on booking,, breakfast isn’t free it’s included in fee if chosen . Nice room but not as nice as visit 2 years prior”
