This was the worst hotel I ever stayed in. Tub was filthy, we couldn't even shower. The room smelled horrible like piss. You check in and out with a kiosk machine. No hotel staff to complain to. Thr breakfast was from 5 to 9. WHAT BREAKFAST??? i called customer service they took my information but that was all. I was very disappointed. It was rated 4 stars and the reviews were good so we took a chance. Now the reviews say the same as mine and are now rated a 2 star. How does that happen? I would definitely not stay again or recommend anyone else to.

When checking in there was a computer, zoom camera, sign-in tablet and a room key activation setup with a remote person (who knows where) on a computer screen greeting you. That person was not easy to understand with a thick accent. It was if I was talking to a robot that I found hard to understand. After checking in and receiving my activated key cards, we went to our room only to find out the keys didn’t open the door. I was told by the human/robot it was a malfunction of the door so we were assigned another room. The room was clean and comfortable but the face of the heating/cooling system was secured properly and fell off in the middle of the night. Bottom line, when I go to stay at a hotel, I would like to be greeted by an actual live bodied person, not a person who may be 7000 miles away with a hard to understand accent.

Did not like kiosk check in. No room keys a person on property had to let you in your room each time. Poor lighting leaking showerhead. Handicap room but had to step over a tall tub to get in. Really poor flushing toilet. Someone waa smoking pot in the building upon arrival but after advising staff it stopped. Several food options close. Parking waa dark.

Parking was ok. But when you arrive you have to talk to a kiosk. Had a hard tome understanding person on other end. Room was beat up snd not very clean. Woild not recommend.

Bathroom very dirty! Big wad of hair and goop in tub so did not use. Urine all over toilet. Hair all over floor. First room smelled like weed. 2nd room had window wide open and smelled ok til middle of night then it smelled like smoke. Couldn’t lock that window by the way. Did not like video check in. Agent was hard to understand and written words did not match his speech or mine.

Staff was absent. Literally check in to a machine at the front desk and not an employee. Didn’t have towels in the room and no one was there to give me any. Then when I checked out the charged me for smoking in the room. I do not even smoke. I asked for proof and they said they saw smoke in my room and there team smelt it. I do not believe a charge for 150$ which my room was 70. Is justified with no real proof. Yet even Expedia told me there was nothing they can do and try to dispute it with my bank.

No shower curtain so asked for a different room. That room also had no shower curtain and smelled of smoke. Clothing hanger is falling out of the wall, bobby-pins on the floor, and an alarm goes went off for 10 minutes at 4:00 .

There were no human being available for check in. They had a person on a video who could barely speak audible English, which made the check in extremely difficult and very frustrating. In addition, the room tv was barely audible. I went to the video monitor to speak with the attendant who told me there was no one at the hotel to fix the problem. I will never stay at a Rodeway Inn again.
