Hotel in Eggstatt

Excellent place to stay! The staff there was excellent! Although we had a bit of a language problem (my German is rusty and the staff did not speak much English) Our stay was wonderful. Great place to stay if you are heading to Herrenchiemsee or Frueninsel (I recommend both!). The cost was lower than staying in Prien. Parking in Gstadt was a short walk to the ferry. Breakfast buffet was typical continental with fresh bread and rolls, lunch meat, boiled eggs, cereal, yougurt, tea and coffee. No problem getting filled up for a day of sightseeing. I definitely would recommend!

This was such a a cute stay and I really enjoyed all the in house dining options. The housekeeping and inn keepers were super bubbly and helpful. A complete stay from breakfast to bedtime I felt I was truly catered to. The only complaint I have is the front desk hours, I had an early flight and the website advertisses a 24 hour front desk, however when I went to turn in my key and such no one was available. Aside from that I have no complaints, the staff really did a wonderful job of making me feel welcomed in my stay so far away from home. :)

Empfehlenswertes Hotel

Wir hatten ein schönes, neuwertiges Zimmer. Besonders gut haben uns die bequemen Matratzen gefallen. Auch das Bad war einwandfrei sauber mit einer geräumigen Dusche. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Es wurde bis zum Ende der Frühstückszeit nachgelegt. Wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohl gefühlt.

bayrisches Hotel+gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Typisch oberbayrische Gastwirtschaft. Das Zimmer selbst, war sehr sauber. Das Bad extrem eng, gefühlte 2 qm, auch die Dusche, sehr beengend. Frühstücks-Buffet mit reichlich Auswahl an frischen Speisen, also nichts Abgepacktes. Sehr gut! Die Dame am Empfang, beim Einchecken, war sehr langsam u. auf meine Frage, ob es am Hotel eine E-Ladestation hat, fragte sie nach, ob ich eine Lademöglichkeit für`s mobil-Telefon damit meine. Da hatte ich dann keine weitere Frage.... Negativ: der Eingang zum Hotel, also draussen, wurde stetig von Rauchern belagert, was sehr unangenehm war. Jedesmal musste man, ungewollt, durch fette Nikotin-Schwaden schreiten. Ein absolutes No-Go. Meine Empfehlung: Den Raucherbereich links oder rechts vom Hotel-Eingang weg zu verlagern! Insgesamt Fazit: gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Insgesamt als kurze Übernachtungsmöglichkeit OK. Teppich im Zimmer geht gar nicht und die Blicke in die Ecken sollten man auch unterlassen. Sauberkeit oberflächlich gerade noch okay , aber bei genauer Sicht kein Wohlfühlort für einen längeren Aufenthalt. Hotel aktuell eine Baustelle und auch unser Zimmer bezüglich vieler Möbel deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Frühstück okay, Essen im Lokal am Abend war sehr gut , große Portionen und sehr lecker , typisch bayrische Hausmannskost 👍
