Excellent hotel

Very good hotel, staff amicable and very helpful, I intended to drop down luggage in early morning at 9:00but to my surprise they told me I could check in because the room had been ready. Clean and food was good as well.

I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations in several areas. Room Cleaning & Housekeeping: After returning from breakfast, I found that although my room had been “cleaned,” there was rubbish left on the floor and the bed had been made very poorly, as if rushed. When I asked the maid about the rubbish, the response was vague and I was told it was “already there,” which made little sense. The maid did eventually remove the rubbish and attempted to remake the bed, but the overall standard was disappointing. General Staff & Facilities To be clear, the staff at reception, the spa, and the dining areas were excellent—friendly, attentive, and professional. However, the showers and sunbeds around the pool area are in need of better cleaning and some repair work. Atmosphere & Guest Experience I used to visit this hotel frequently for meetings in the lobby, which was always a great environment for online calls and lunch. Recently, however, there has been a noticeable shift in the clientele. While I have no issue with the demographic itself, my wife and I experienced a couple of incidents involving racist behaviour from other guests. This made us feel extremely uncomfortable and overshadowed the rest of our stay. Due to the decline in housekeeping standards, the maintenance issues around the pool area, and—most importantly—the uncomfortable encounters with certain guests, I will not be returning in a hurry or recommending this hotel.

Room was noisy - 2072. There is an extractor or something just outside as the room faces onto the roof and it can be quite noisy. Food quality at dinner was not good. Receptionist, who I think was the manger, was very off hand and not welcoming.

Room was huge with a large comfy king size bed. Plush dressing gowns and towels. Air con didn’t cool the room down very much and although I had a balcony couldn’t leave the door open as room was near the road. Not that you heard it with the door shut. Lovely hotel. Great location an beautiful views.

Easy check in, no problems, from 2pm which is very reasonable. I asked if late check out would be available, but was informed I would need to ask in the morning, that is a bit of an inconvenience if you are planning a long lay in. It would be helpful to know the day before. The lock on my door was not working, a member of staff had this fixed straight away. Room modern in decoration Good selection of different lighting in room and bathroom. Air conditioning which can be adjusted. Blackout curtains, fridge. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Good quality of towels, and robes in room,very thick. Monsoon and standard shower in one. Overall a very nice room, VERY clean Spa, also very clean. Key code lockers. Small Sauna and plunge pool within changing room. Main swimming pool and jacuzzi. Infared room and steam room. A fair amount of loungers and chairs around the pool, it was fairly busy on my visit at 4pm on a Saturday, but I managed to find a lounger Overall a really good first experience of this hotel. Would be even better if they offered room service, and if you were able to pay to use the spa facilities after check out
