Sevilla Palace Hotel

"The Sevilla Palace is a very good value on prize real estate on Mexico City's Paseo de la Reforma. Like other hotels and restaurants they went a bit overboard with prices during the World Cup. Hopefully they'll settle down soon. But even so it is a good value. Especially so if you have a car. Parking is easy and up until a few months ago was free but now there is a fee which is reasonable: 70 pesos per day with in and out allowed during the time period. Swimming pool on the roof, with grand views all around. Glass enclosed elevators make every ride spectacular. Bring your own coffee maker. Coffee is expensive in the room, free in the lobby. The hotel is very clean, spacious, and well designed; everything works as it should."

"The stay was excellent, all the staff were very friendly, the place is very clean, it feels very comfortable, it is in a very good area near the Zócalo, I would recommend it ."

"Awesome location. Staff were great. Room and facility were very clean. However, room was small and breakfast wasn't worth a second round. It was nice that they've got a little exercise room and a pool, but worth noting: CDMX sits at 7,000+ feet elevation, so it's much cooler than you'd expect from 'Mexico' - not really outdoor swim weather, even in August."

"Todo estuvo bien, los empleados muy amables. El desayuno muy rico. Solamente que no hay estacionamiento en la propiedad. Dejamos el carro afuera y tenía una llanta ponchada con un tornillo. Se acercaron los "viene viene" de la calle y se acomidieron a cambiar la llanta. Desafortunadamente en la misma cuadra, una señora se quejó que su llanta estaba ponchada casualmente por un tornillo. Es lamentable que no haya donde dejar los autos de manera segura."

"Everything was great! Only complaints I have are there are no refrigerators in the rooms. I am diabetic and had to keep my insulin down at lobby. So I had to go ask for it every time I needed it. Also no ice machines anywhere on the property. My daughter bumped her head at the hotel and needed some ice to put on her and they didn’t have any. My husband had to run across the street to an OXXO to buy some."
