Yes the room was very clean. Really liked the view but was surprised there weren’t any lotion or bath supplies. Staff was very sweet and generous and I haven’t seen that at any hotel

Lagos del Calafate os good value for the price, but it’s an older property that had a recent refresh in an effort to modernize. Beds are comfortable and clean, bit walls are thin - we could hear snoring in the toom next door, and voices in the hallway. Walk to town is about 15 minutes. Breakfast is included and so-so, nothing to remember. Overall, a fine place to stay but nothing out of the ordinary.

This is a really excellent hotel. It has a beautiful, old style and there has been a lot of attention to detail. The food is absolutely outstanding, the staff is excellent, and the views of the mountains over the lake are unforgettable. Price was very very reasonable. The only negative is that the Wi-Fi is pretty poor, but I suspect that has more to do with where it's located. than anything the hotel has control over. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Pleasant stay, lots of noisy guests.

A good base for El Calafate, we had a decent stay here. Nothing special, but very pleasant. Highlights were the pool and spa area that was great, room and bed comfy enough. Biggest issue was that this hotel has a lot of large groups and they are forever talking in the corridors outside rooms, sometimes as early as 5am or 6am, often waking us up. There really needs to be a door or a reminder to people not to have conversations outside the rooms. There's not a huge amount the hotel can do, but it is an issue.

Everything went well. The staff was especially nice and helpful. I was on the ground floor near the lobby and sometimes I could hear the noise, so I suggest a room further from there if you are sensitive to that. The walls are thin. I hear me people having sex one night. I did not care for that. But that was not the hotel’s fault. Bring your earplugs if you are sensitive to movie.

Excellent location-about a 10 minute walk to downtown. Very quiet. Room was spacious. The included breakfast was buffet style with plenty of options. Hotel restaurant was above usual for a hotel. We ate there 3 nights because didn’t want to walk to town after a day of hiking. Would definitely recommend.

Since areas around Calafate are known for trekking and other activities, most tours operates very early! Although breakfast is included for our stay,the hotel does not offer packed BF to go before the buffet bar opens. It’s such a shame for such a resort hotel!

We booked this hotel as a last resort since eveything else was booked. The hotel is away from main street, although is of walking distance, say 15 mins. Its entrance road is of dirt, so our stroller could not be used. This is a winter place so there is no ac in summer, meaning that you have to open the windows. Our room was next to the swimming pool, so we had no privacy! Again, this hotel is just for spending the night and then you go...
