Friendly staff and clean room. Our room had an issue with a running toilet and a bathtub that seemed to have a leak in it but it was overall clean and comfortable. Beds were very comfortable. As far as the location, a bit of landscaping would help improve the property a lot.

The room felt massive and empty, and the building is cavernous. Everything echos. You can hear people opening and closing doors all night. I kept waking up. You can also hear people theough the drain pipes jn the bathroom. I could hear a conversation of the people in the room next door. Good for a cheap stay, but not if you are a light sleeper

Nice hotel with great panoramic views of Lago Argentino and the mountains beyond. Friendly and helpful staff, easy parking, and a short walk to town. Room was comfortable and clean, though we did have to open the window to air out the musty smell. Overall, a great place to stay at.

Lovely lady cation on the lake. Longish walk to downtown around 2 miles. Absolutely terrible breakfast. Someone whisked away the jug of water even as I was filling my cup because the clock struck ten and before that they had no clean cups or glasses for coffee or juice

Cuando uno se encuentra de viaje a miles de kilómetros de su casa y le pasa algo malo espera un poco de ayuda y comprensión, no que se aprovechen para ahondar en su desgracia y quedarse con un beneficio. Esto dice muy poco de los gestores de un negocio. Debido a la falta de profesionalidad de algunas empresas y negocios nos ha quedado muy mala sensación de todo lo relacionado con el Calafate como si nos hubiesen estafado. Argentina tiene mucho que mejorar en muchas cosas, en especial en la protección a los derechos de los consumidores. Así nunca llegará el desarrollo.

Espero no sufran la desgracia de tener que quedarse en este hotel. Para empezar: 1. Queda lejos del centro de la ciudad y toca ir en taxi o caminar 40 minutos. 2. Dice que el desayuno esta incluido, pero cobran por los huevos, la variedad es minima, solo hay panes, verduras y frutas en mal estado (solo manzanas, narajas y rodajas de tomate y rodajas de pepino). Los panes un pesar, son horribles de sabor. 3. Las habitaciones no las limpian durante la estadia, a duras penas estiran las sabanas como por decir que tendieron la cama. 4. Las paredes dentro del hotel no les hacen mantenimiento hace años, tienen huecos en la pintura y grietas. 5. Las duchas no tienen puerta y se moja todo el piso del baño, lo que resulta incomodo a la hora de usarlo. 6. Las almohadas parecen viejisimas, estan como deshechas por dentro como si un perro las hubiera mordisquedo. Mas comodo es una almoahda hecha de medias dobladas en nudo.

This hotel is located at the lake shore, has very good views of the lake and the mountains. It is very clean. The best of it is that the staff are very friendly and nice. I couldn’t find my passport in my room and I had to take my excursion to the Perito Monera Glacier. I told the staff if anyone found my passport and gave it to them. They said no. But they also helped me calling the restaurant that I had my dinner last night but the restaurant didn’t open until noon. They told me if they found it they would let me know immediately. So I took my trip with a heavy heart. At 11am I received a message from the hotel saying that the cleaning lady found my passport and some money in my room while she was cleaning my room. I was very excited and happy to know that my passport was recovered as I was planning to travel to Buenos Aires to visit USA embassy to get a new one. In addition they also asked if I would come back to hotel to retrieve my passport, if not they would send someone to deliver my passport and money along with my luggages that I left with them to a meeting place. That was very kind offer and touched my heart. At the end I came back to the hotel and get my belongings back. I am very grateful for their service and kindness. I would definitely recommend travelers to stay in this hotel.

The folks who checked us in were great throughout our stay. The room was fine. Not great but okay. When we checked out I noticed they overcharged for dinner. At dinner I pointed it out that we were charged for beers both at the bar and at the table but only ordered wine at the table. The front desk decided they didn’t want to fix this. It doesn’t make sense to stay here. Other people in our party also had problems with their bill. I don’t know of they are unethical or just tired of communicating with tourists.

Avoid at all cost- we stayed here for 3 nights and it was the biggest regret of this trip. Only the views are nice about this hotel. I don’t mind that it’s 3km from the town centre because Lago Argentino is beautiful. Everything else was an extortion 1. Iron- they don’t provide it, I was told I have to pay extra for laundry that would include ironing. 2. Hair dryer was broken on our first day. 3. They put is in room 101 which is on another side of the hotel- you have to walk out for 1 minute in the cold and wind. The key card wasn’t working my friend has to walk back outside into the reception and get it. 4. To eat breakfast you have to do the same- go out of the and walk in the cold and wind, such a hassle- I wouldn’t even call the breakfast basic, options weren’t any good, if you want eggs you have to pay extra 5. We asked for a different room for the day after when we spent a night in El Chalten, to be placed at the main hotel- there were triple rooms available online but we were told we have to change our booking online and pay- this I don’t understand for it was for another triple rooms and not an upgrade. In the end we stayed in the same room, 101. 6. It was pretty cold in the room and when we turned the heater on, it leaked with so much water the poor receptionist have to troubleshoot it and become an engineer for that night The experience has been so horrible, the worst hotel we’ve had in Chile and Argentina!! Would never book here again if if it’s the only hotel i
