Wir hatten in El Gouna mit dem Team von Turtles Inn und Captains Inn einen wunderbaren Kurzurlaub. Das Personal hat uns mit offenen Armen empfangen und war immer gut gelaunt und hilfsbereit! Das Frühstück an der Marina ist unschlagbar lecker! Wir kommen nächstes Jahr wieder!

Practical hotel in the center of Marina, El Gouna
We stayed in a king-size bed room during New Year season. The room and the bathroom were clean and practical. Not too much space though. We had a smoker room and it means that you can smoke out of the window maybe that's why we were on the ground floor. The noise isolation is not so good so we could hear anyone passing by our room and in the whole hall in general, so if you are a light sleeper, ask maybe a room on top floors. The reception was nice and complying. However we were told about a dine around service, where you can book a dinner (set menu or buffet, depending on the restaurant) for the same night of the booking with another listed restaurant, but it wasn't effective. So a bit disappointed by that.

Regarding your points, we would like to inform you with the following: The Marina is the nightlife place in El-Gouna so on high seasons times, there is always something going on. As the Turtle's Inn is located in the middle of the place, it can be, that you hear the noise, but which is not every night as the parties are not hosted for every evening. The Turtle's Inn is a very small hotel, which indeed has small rooms, but do have the perfect size regarding the hotel. The Turtle's Inn is a typical diving hotel or for guests, that mainly spend their time outside and just need a place to sleep. Finally you do have a dine-around booklet in the room, which explains you the system of this program. We thank you for praising us and we well surely keep your comments. Hotel für Taucher in Nähe der Abu Tig Marina
Das Hotel liegt an der Abu Tag Marina, El Gouna neben einem Best Way Supermarket.. Vom Hotel aus ist die Tauchbasis Blue Brothers Diving bequem in nur 5 Minuten fußläufig erreichbar, der Strand ebenso. Nach El Gouna Downtown fährt entweder Shuttle Bus, Taxi oder Tok Tok (10 EGP/Einzelperson). In der Marina findet der Besucher Geschäfte, Bars und Restaurants. Ich nutzte das Hotel bereits zum 2. Mal und komme gerne wieder.

Good location, next to resturants.
I stayed for two nights at the turtle inn, it is located at the marina, where most the resturants and pubs are. The reception and check inn area was located in a different building which was a bit of hassle. The rooms were clean and in a good condition.

average hotel
Well to be honest I was preparing myself for a luxurious hotel but it turned out to be quit an average one ,good as just good not wow.... The location is fantastic and the rooms were good but still average ... Not bad if you are not planning to stay in the room for a long time. We are bikers and someone stole some stuff from some bags were on the bikes while it was parked in front of the hotel ,so take care.

Great location and cheap
When I arrived the floor was dirty and there was no toilet paper. The main lamp in the room did not work. I complained about this (first time I have complained at a hotel). When I came back in the evening they had put toilet paper in the room, and regarding to cleaning the floor, it seemed like they had used the shower mat, cause it was a lot more dirty and wet than when I left the room earlier. The main lamp never got fixed, I didn´t bother to complain one more time. I also had a door which did not lock/close unless you made sure it was properly closed. So first night I woke up in the middle of the night and the door to my room was open :( Not a very pleasant experience. Despite all this I was quite satisfied with my stay. The bed was clean and mattress fine, the breakfast was ok (they make omelettes!). The staff always helpful and nice. My friend told me when I complained about the door etc. "Keep in mind you are in Egypt". When I kept that in mind it wasn´t so bad after all :)

Kleines Hotel in der Abu Tig Marina
Das Turtle's Inn-Hotel gehört mit dem Captains-Inn und dem Ali-Pasha zu den drei Abu Tig Marina-Hotels. Sie sind alle einem Generalmanager unterstellt. Das Turtel's Inn-Hotel ist ein reines Taucher- oder Kiterhotel. Von den Zimmern her, ist es das kleinste Hotel von den oben gennanten und daher eher überschaubar. Aufgrund der Bauweise ist es allerdings sehr hellhörig. Die Gestaltung der Zimmer ist freundlich und irgendwie gemütlich. Wir mögen es einfach, sodass wir schon zum 10. Mal dort gebucht haben. Sollte irgend etwas mal nicht geklappt haben, dann wurde die gute Seele der Hotels namens Rafik angesprochen und er kümmerte sich um alles weitere. Er ist momentan für das Ali-Pasha zuständig, aber er guckt immer mal wieder bei den anderen 'Familienmitgliedern der Marina-Hotels' vorbei. Die Rezeption ist im Turtle'Inn Hotel nicht besetzt, da die Hotelabwicklung von der Rezeption im Captains-Inn-Hotel durchgeführt wird. Uns hat das überhaupt nicht gestört, da wir den Schlüssel immer bei uns behalten haben.

Turtle's Inn... super!
Das Hotel ist eher klein, aber völlig ausreichend, wenn man ein Bett zum Übernachten braucht und tagsüber unterwegs ist. Der Service ist sehr gut, sehr freundlich und offen für jegliche Fragen. Wir sind rundum zufrieden und würden uns jeder Zeit wieder ins Turtle's Inn einbuchen.

Very cute hotel
This was my 4th trip to Gouna in 10 months and my first stay at the Turtle's Inn. I loved the bright coral colors and quiet location, set back just enough from the harbor front. The staff was helpful and pleasant and breakfast (shared with the Captain's Inn) was just enough. Plenty of selection, clean, and great service. The beach staff, however needs to read-up on customer service. The beach staff insisted that I give them my water bottle from my bag even when I ordered 2 large bottles of water, which I had also ordered the day before. After a long arguement, which I tried desperately not to have, I and my guests were ignored all day on the beach and never brought the water I ordered. Really? This is not the way to bring in more tourists!

Tolles Taucherhotel auch für Nichttaucher !
Ich komme seit mehreren Jahren immer wieder gerne in das Turtles Inn. Ich reise meist alleine, und treffe dort immer auf überaus freundliches Personal. Der Hotelmanager Rafik löst jedes noch so große und kleine Problem, von der fehlenden Batterie bis zum Heißhunger auf frische Mango. Die angrenzende Orca-Tauchbasis ermöglicht kurze Wege und die vielen Restaurants rund um das Turtle Inn lassen keinen kulinarischen Wunsch offen. In allen Preislagen sind hier ausgezeichnete Restaurants zu finden. Ein Supermarkt und eine Bäckerei gleich nebenan.

Kjempe koselig lite hotell midt i Marina, kort vei til Downtown med flere transport muligheter. Hyggelig personale. Har bodd i alle 3 stjerners hoteller i Marina og denne er absolutt til og anbefale mest! Enkle rom , men du mangler ingenting:)

Das Hotel liegt ca 30 min mit dem Taxi vom Flughafen entfernt. Die Zimmer sind klein aber durchaus gut ausgestattet (TV, Klima, Safe...). Zu den Kitestationen kommt man am besten mit einem Toc-Toc innerhalb von 5 Minuten für fünf Pfund pro Person. Strandbars und Pools der anderen Hotels und Cafes können mitbenutzt werden und sind durchaus zu empfehlen. Wenn man fürs kiten in diese Region kommt ist das Turtles Inn ein echt guter Tip. Für Menschen, die eine Hotelanlage nicht verlassen möchten, ist das Hotel nichts.

Gute Lage direkt an der Marina, toller Service, freundlices Personal, Orca-Tauchbasis nebenan. Sauber, ordentlich, Terrasse für Plaudereien mit aderen Tauchern. Restaurant "Chez Chantal" sehr gut. Lohnt sich und immer wieder.
