4 star all the way highly recommended Just don’t understand why I have to pay extra charge for a the 3rd person for room advertised on their site for 2-3 person accommodation. The room itself is for 3 persons .

Booked as the pictures looked great. The hotel is not cheap. Unfortunately, pictures looked better than actual. My balcony was overlooking the staff quarters which was not a pretty sight. Needs more attention on maintenance and cleanliness. On my request for them to arrange a van ride to Port Barton, Hotel Covo staff endorsed me to a transport group which charged more than 2x the regular cost of the van ride to Port Barton! I felt they treated guests just an invoice - no care to ensure a good experience and handover.

Very much liked the service of the attendants at Huni. Covo is currently undergoing renovations but we were informed on arrival straight away that they had re booked us and upgraded us at Huni one of the neighbouring hotels.

This is an amazing property a little far away from the town. Lio beach is just beautiful in the evening.

Lio beach is beautiful Nice area with few restaurants Far from the city but theres a free shuttle. Hotel looks new Room was not ready for check in on time. Worth thing- Bed fleas! Woke up with a lot of bites

We originally booked to stay at Covo but when we arrived we were met with a series of unfortunate events met us. A typhoon had hit and while weather was bad the team at Covo didn't really seem to be doing much to attend to issues. When we got to our room there was now bedding, just a sheet on the bed, no towels & not hot water. The rooms don't feel finishe week, more like a glorified hostel than a $200 a night hotel. After going for lunch we can back to our room flooded! Final straw. We complained to management and surprisingly move to their sister hotel. Much better cleanliness, facilities and not water / zero flooding! Thankyou to the lovely Cat for looking after us and turning a potential 2/10 holiday back to 5 star.

Totally worth the money. We spent last two days of our trip there and it was best decision. The hotel us on par with Europian/American hotels. Rooms are very clean, crispy sheets, choice of pillows, powerful AC. Breakfast is ok, it’ll keep you going but definitely you can get a better food at the restaurants near by. The area and the nearby beach is georgeous.

small hotel with small rooms, close to airport
close to the airport, right by the beach, a few restaurants close. Small rooms, so so breakfast included, it didn't help it rained both days there, but not much else around. Free ride into town was nice.

Overall had an amazing stay in hotel covo. The resort facility was amazing, 1 min walk to LIO beach and accessible to many restaurants and bars in the vicinity. Easily accessible to the spa and the booking tour agency as well. Free 10min to shuttle ride to El Nido town ( which is overpopulated with too much construction going on). Hotel covo was perfect to get away from the city but fairly close by tricycle, shuttle and scooter. LIO beach was beautiful, with an amazing sunset, and much nicer than the beach located in El Nido town. The staff were very attentive and and caring for our needs and extremely helpful with anything we needed. Room was a decent size for 2 people. My only complaint would be that there were too many bees and bugs in the vicinity which you would expect being on an island. The bees however do not bother you unless you bother them. Looking forward to staying here again.

Not a great stay at Hotel Covo. The hotel is set in a new resort area, Lio Beach which is lovely and not crowded like El Nido town (yet!). There is much development happening in the resort so hopefully there will be better services available in coming years. Service is below average at the hotel. Rooms are already needing repair and it looks as though he hotel has only been open a few months. We had a leaking ceiling for the whole stay regardless of housekeeping coming in daily and not doing anything about it and having no action taken when I told the front desk. Myself and partner were celebrating an anniversary and to be fair they did mention it on check in buyback honestly I would have preferred to have consistent good service than a couple of towels on the bed. All in all pretty disappointed with the stay. Lio Beach is lovely though so I would just reccomend checking out other hotels available in the area.

Overall wonderful stay!
Staff were excellent & helpful. Bed was comfy and room was cool and clean. Aircon was a added luxury! Design of the bedroom was funky :) perfect location for our last day before flying out from el Nido, a few seconds from the beach and lots of restaurants and free airport shuttle. Overall a lovely stay.

The hotel is new, limited amenities, no phone to call the reception, no pool, no toiletries, no ref, no cabinet.l..super small cr and shower area.limited choices for bfast..according to the staff its the design/concept of the hotel. But service is above average ...no reception after 10pm. Pros..near the beach, near restos, near nice view of el nido bacuit bay..strong wifi..service of staff

The staff here are amazing! You can really tell they genuinely care about you. I stayed with a friend here for about three nights and we had a very hard time leaving! Anything we needed, the staff went out of their way to help with.

Nice hotel - next to the beach
Location is excellent - next to the beach. Lio beach is clean and not crowded, great place to spend evening time for beautiful sunset. Lio area is very new and clean, the hotel provides free shuttle to town which takes around 15 mins. Room is clean and comfortable with minimum amenities. Staffs are friendly and service-minded.

Lovely small hotel. Very relaxing. Quiet area, 2 min walk to large quiet beach. Couple of bars around to eat or drink. Staff in the hotel is super friendly, alway smiling. Free shuttle to El Nido town was very punctual, runs until 12am.

Nice stay at Covo
Stayed here for 4 nights during our El Nido leg of Palawan stay and had an overall pleasant stay. The hotel is part of a tourist compound about 10 mins drive north of El Nido town at Lio Beach. It's a relatively new build and loads of potential but lacked a bit of buzz while we were there apart from New Years Eve. There's a couple of decent spots for food (Fat Chuy had good Chinese food) and drinks in the compound but not enough that you'd want to hang out there the whole time. Good thing El Nido is only down the road. The room we stayed in was clean and modern. Toilet was small and shower blew a little hot and cold at times but did the job. Bed was big and comfortable. TV with cable, if you feel the need. Beach was about 200m from the entrance of the hotel and we found it nice for a morning run and dip in the water. Breakfast was included and was a mix of continental and local with fresh eggs made to order as well. Nice food and set us up for the day. There's a travel agent on the site that can set up guests with island hopping tours or a trip to Nacpan beach on a trike driver. They were very helpful and made planning our days as we went very easy. Overall the hotel was clean and modern with good breakfast and the site is new and lacking a little buzz. If you are looking for a good base for day time activities off site and looking for a nice spot to rest the head and start the day, Covo is a good option. Dunno if I'd want to spend all day every day on the site though.

A wonderful area for quiet but stunning beach, but the hotel needs to improve a few things before it's worth what they charge. Mainly, good hot water and wifi in the rooms, as well as towels and toilet paper in the room. I'm sure those last 2 were just a rare occurrence but the wifi is terrible in the room. It's strong in reception, but as an outdoor area you get eaten alive by mosquitoes in the evening. Breakfast was decent but limited in choice after a few days. Hourly shuttle into town was great, especially as the food options in the Lio area are quite limited and all over priced. There's both much better food in town as well as cheap options.

シャワーの出が悪く、お湯が出なかったので そこだけが非常に残念でした。 南国とはいえやはりシャワーはお湯で浴びたいです… 洗面所はお湯が出たので、他の部屋は出るんだと思います。 リゾート全体の雰囲気や清潔さはとても良く、 リオビーチでは泳いでいませんが、 ビーチも悪くはなかったと思います。 朝食は美味しかった。 コスパも良いので、総合的には良いところだと思います。

Stället har potential med viljan verkar inte finnas. Hotellet ligger ca 20 min från El Nido. Det går gratis transfer en gång i timmen, annars är det trike som gäller. Läget är lungt, fin strand med några andra hotell och restauranger. Nackdelen är att det knappt finns någon som helst service på plats. Inga butiker, bara några restauranger och andra hotell. Hotellet erbjuder inte mycket heller. Inga menyer för roomservice, men frågar man i receptionen kan man beställa upp dryck till rummet. Det finns inget kylskåp eller minibar. Ingen pool eller andra faciliteter. Bara rum och frukost.
