“This little hotel is a gem. Clean, quiet, nice rooms with a/c, tv, free Netflix, free wifi and super friendly staff. The hotel is located near the Ciudad Colonial and at walking distance from Malecón de Santo Domingo. There are plenty of great restaurants and attractions nearby. Large, modern shopping centers are a short Uber ride away. If you are driving there is ample street parking. Conveniently two “colmados” are just a few meters away. They offer drinks and food items. I highly recommend……

“Check in was easy, the owner provided me with bldg and room access. Hotel rules was explained via email in details. I only had one issue with no shower gel. But the reception came and explain the issue and rectified the situation the same day.Adefra staff member Omar Molina was on point with making breakfast the way I preferred it and assisted me with points of interest around Santo Domingo.”

“Small room ac wasn't working well. Batteries ran out of the ac remote. And then the guy staff loses the key to the room i was staying in after i give it to him when he comes to change the batteries to the room. and wants me to find it. The next morning tryna act like I gotta pay a fee for lost key when hes the one I gave the key too.”

“I stayed in El Beaterio for 4 nights. It’s such a beautiful casa museo located in a quiet area. The room is nice and clean decorated with old maps of La española. The courtyard has lots of sunlight and plants that I enjoyed my breakfast here (though you need to apply mosquito repellent as they are quite active if you come in early morning like 6-8am) Check out the terrace in the early morning and you would get a nice photo with sun rise. The staff here are very nice. I stayed in the room……

“habitacion para 2 personas muy incomoda, cama matrimonial, y espacio insuficiente, aconsejo modificar a cama Quenn o king, mesa de trabajo sin conexiones electricas para equipos, ejemplo laptop y carga de celulares. En el restaurant no se les ocurra pedir adicional algo en el desayuno, pedi un servicio de pan adicional eso quiere decir una rodaja de pan de sandwich y te la cobran como si fuese un paquete completo.”

“Omg this place was horrible I’m still waiting for my refund. I was there for 5 minutes and I left nothing looks like the pictures. People screaming in the hallway. Everything look so crappy and unsanitary.”

“This hotel is terrific for a quick getaway to Santo Domingo. Top tier amenity, the rooftop, the view and the pool. In the morning breakfast was great, especially if you want traditional Dominican breakfast, which you should have when in the Dominican Republic. Staff was great. They even prepared a little birthday surprise for my cousin. My only negative was the elevator situation where it would not go to the first floor and you had to attempt many time. I would definitely stay there again.”
