Perfect getaway
This little cabin is perfect! They have stocked it with everything you could want for a wonderful getaway from the world without a need to leave the property. We explored the trails & fruit trees on the grounds. Lots of trips down to the lake to fish, kayak, & canoe. The stars are spectacular. We heard coyotes howling at night as we sat out by the fire. The deck is huge and so cozy. Ryan was so helpful & responsive leading up to check-in. Enjoyed our stay very much!

Best Weekend
My friends and I had the best time!! The best property and cutest tiny home. The tiny home was very spacious! And the porch was the BEST! All we needed was more hammock chairs! The hosts were awesome and so helpful but we didn’t have any issues! will stay here again if I get the chance!

Peaceful Cabin on the Lake
We LOVE this cabin on the lake and have been here multiple times and it just keeps getting better and better!! It is so peaceful and serene and perfect for our kids to run and play in the freedom of the woods. The cabin is so clean and cozy and delightful! It makes you never want to leave!!

I couldn’t have asked for a better location, property and cabin! I am quite addicted to my phone, so I was a bit concerned there, but I mentally prepped and I’m more addicted to nature and beauty so an easy trade off😉 The cabin itself is slightly smaller than it photographs, but the quality and wasn’t nice is precisely as photographs and I’m sure in warmer months, all the outdoors lace makes everything feel huge. I loved our stay, the grounds were private, well marked paths leading to the lake, adorable outdoor patio/deck, much better quality kitchenware than most rentals AND a washer and dryer! Great. We had no issues, never had to be in contact with the owners (but I’m sure they would have been lovely and responsive) Inwas there to rockhound and the location was ideal as a base

Absolute Gem!!!
We were staying in Tennessee for our daughters wedding and decided to break up our LONG trip back to Florida so I started going through VRBO. I found this perfect peace of heaven for not only my hubby and I but our pups were inHEAVEN!!!!! I write this in the car home they are exhausted!!! Will def come back when warmer so we (hubby and I) can enjoy the lake. This trip the cold temps didn’t stop the pups from swimming. It was COLD highs in 50’s lows in the 20’s!! We love camping and this house was like Glamping. Soooo clean. The host was extremely helpful. I highly recommend if you want to get away from it all, take a trip here.

Celebrating 10 years
I chose this cabin for my family for a couple of reasons. 1. It had a huge chunk of its own land to be able to wander and explore. 2. It was secluded. There weren't any other cabins within sight. No other people we had to worry about stumbling upon amongst the trails, it was a total get away. And that's exactly what we got. The cabin was a tad smaller than I had thought but nothing drastic or a deal breaker. The set up was family friendly and tons of all the convenient things needed on a stay in the middle of nowhere. They are not kidding about the lack of cell service but that's also a big draw. We're not big screen people as it is so we didn't even bring or watch any of the dvds. The cabin was cozy. We all loved everything about it and honestly didn't want to leave our little acreage for anything for the whole weekend. We had a wonderful fire at night and told ghost stories with the kids. We never took the boats out but loved having it as an option. We did luck out with one warm day so the kids got to splash around at a private beach while the husband and I just watched and enjoyed the fun they were having. We were in total bliss. Life long memories were made while celebrating a huge mile stone for our family. We have already talked of coming back and other trails we didn't get the chance to explore. We did end up leaving to get lunch and watch a UGA game as we're all avid fans. Please take the time to check out southern hart brewing company. Only 20 minutes away, amazing food, great happy service, and a surprisingly fun family friendly atmosphere. We ended up staying there for the whole game and we all enjoyed ourselves thoroughly the entire time. These host are great, kind, answered all my questions and were available when needed. Will most certainly consider staying here again.

Off the Grid Getaway
This was our second time staying at this property and we enjoyed our time off the grid. The property has trails that lead to a beautiful peaceful lake where we spent most of our time. If you need a place to get away from the internet and cell phones and just want to return to the peace and quiet of nature, this location is ideal.

Great place to unplug
We held our annual guys trip with a group of long time friends. This place was perfect. Glorified camping. Had all the conveniences of a house with kitchen, AC, bedrooms and bathroom, while also offering all of the fun adventure of camping. The hike down to the lake is short and the Kayaks and Paddle Boards are tons of fun. Literally felt like we had the entire lake to our selves. Swimming, Fishing, Hiking, Camp Fires, Corn Hole... excellent place to unplug and enjoy nature. Will absolutely be coming back with my wife and dog.

Our family of 3 and pup had a perfect time at this cabin! We definitely enjoyed the no cell service and being disconnected. Got tons of lake time in during the day and movies in at night. We were hoping for a bigger / different grill situation but other than that, we loved it. Our dog rode the paddle board and daughter loved the swings out front. Can’t wait to come back

We really enjoyed this cabin. It was clean, well stocked and decorated very nice. The porch with hammock swings was so restful! Supplying paddle boards and kayaks was a great addition.

Our third stay was wonderfully quiet and relaxing. Lots of walks and hikes with plenty of time lakeside. We never saw anyone on the lake and it was as if the entire lake was just for us to watch and enjoy. The cabin has everything you need to disconnect and relax.

The cabin was great. Very clean. A little disappointed there was no cable TV. We were visiting Lake Russell to do some fishing. It was a challenge to get the boat and trailer turned around in the parking area in front of the cabin. Also a little bit of a down hill hike to the water. Coming back up was challenging for middle aged folks. But it is a very peaceful place and lots of quiet time. Found a nice little restaurant in downtown Elberton named Richards bar and grill. Food was excellent. Check it out if you visit this getaway.

Very quiet & peaceful
My family & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this secluded cabin & property. We did not want to leave! My kids loved the loft and said it reminded them of the Littlr House on the Prarie, but bigger. We hiked some trais, enjoyed the lake, fished, made a campfire, smores, and star gazed. I personally enjoyed being unplugged & not having access to cell or wi-fi. It was so quiet & peaceful. My family look forward to returning some day.

Perfect pet-friendly getaway!
This rental was absolutely breathtaking!! The trails to the lake were so much fun, and every location on the river was a stunning view! The amenities provided were appreciated (board games, kayaks, canoe, paddleboards, movies, books, etc). We had everything we needed! There were also many fun excursions and adorable towns to stroll through nearby! My fiancé and I brought 2 of our dogs and they had a blast as well! We had the most perfect peaceful getaway, and definitely want to come back to this location!

The Great Escape
We booked our trip hoping for peace and quiet and the chance to reconnect with nature. We were very pleased with our decision and loved the remote peaceful setting. The cabin was clean and inviting. The surrounding trails located on the property were travelled frequently by us and our dogs, and the nighttime view of the sky was spectacular. Our time at the cabin allowed us to escape the daily stress created by ringing phones, tv, and surfing the internet. Our great escape went by way to quickly, but we plan on returning for a longer stay next time. We highly recommend this cabin.

We had a really nice experience at the cabin, It was a break from the daily routine. We had a blast with my family, the kids enjoyed the lake and the no WIFI. It made us to reconnect with nature and as a family. I will definitely come back next year.

Much Needed Secluded Get Away
Description of property is accurately described. Nice, very clean, tiny cabin on private property with little to no cell service/internet. The beauty truly is the peace and quiet around you. The outdoor chair/hammocks are fun to sit and relax in. My wife cozied up in one for hours reading. Our family of 5, kids ages 7, 5 and 4 loved going on hikes, roasting marshmallows around a fire pit, reading a book, playing board games, finding all types of bugs, lizards, slow lizards, kids caught a ton of them, and even a turtle. Kids loved the loft area., Just the right size for them. They also had kayaks, a canoe, and paddle boards to use. We went out on the water and borrowed a kayak and canoe. It was very calming and peaceful. Our pet dog loved running around the property and being free. You are about 20 minutes away from a wal-mart/ Ingles to pick up some groceries or forgotten items. But once you are there, you mostly just want to relax on the property. Had a few questions before staying there and owners were quick to respond. Would definitely stay here again.

The tiny cabin was set up perfectly! Loved the screened in porch, the huge deck, and the fire pit. The location is really remote and took a couple of days to get used to not hearing anything but birds and insects. Very peaceful. Wonderful way to get away from the world!

Absolutely perfect getaway
This little cabin is the perfect escape from busy life. Our family of four (2 adults and 2 young kids ages 2 & 4) had a magical long weekend. The property and adjoining trails are fantastic. We never had a need to get in our car and the only people we saw in 4 days were on a distant boat. The lakeshore is undeveloped and really it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere in the best way. The adjoining patio/deck doubles the space - it’s huge! All furnishings were very nice and the house and deck felt very clean. Canoeing with the kids and paddle boarding made the trip so fun . (Note if you have young kids, bring life vests you know will fit securely. Water gets deep quickly everywhere we went swimming.). I am so thankful for the time we spent there and grateful the owners make this special place available to others. We are already planning a return trip.

Everything! And then some!
This cabin was perfect for our family! My husband and I, and our three kids(age 4, 5.5, and 8.5), loved everything! We also brought our dog, who was able to run around and explore with us. The trails are beautiful. The reviews are all perfectly accurate! All you really need to bring is your clothing, food, and some fishing supplies(if that’s your thing). My kids loved the paddle boards and the canoe. The only mistake we made was waiting until our last day to go swimming! The stairs up to the loft are a little steep for my 4 year old, but that didn’t stop him from going up and down constantly. This was the perfect quiet getaway. We didn’t see another person the whole time we were there. The day we arrived was hailed as “the best day ever,” per my 5 year old. 10/10 recommend.
