「We enjoyed a relaxing stay with our dog and kayaking on the lake. The cabin and surrounding area were as described. It is a beautiful spot on the lake. We would also recommend a hike on the Moccasin Lake Trail which allows dogs.」

「The inside of the house was well suited for our group of 14 people and our dogs. There were ample towels in both bathrooms as well as in the kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking equipment! The bed linens were good quality! There is some traffic noise being near a busy road but it’s more quiet towards evening. The yard is large but could use some trimming and cleanup! We really enjoyed and utilized the big outside table and chairs! We had a very memorable weekend!」

「This was our group's third year at this property and we'll certainly be back for a fourth. Our kids had a blast fishing and swimming right off the dock, water is deep and clear. The house is great for families with our kids taking over the loft. Hot tub is a great bonus. 」

「It was very nice! The kitchen was stocked with all you needed. There were even extra blankets and paper products. There was just a couple of things that maybe could be done. Typically people would'nt use the oven in summer. But in the fall maybe. It was really needed cleaning and one of the bathroom drawers was full of personal things(old things). I don't recall it being mentioned that there was iron in the water at booking. Was stated in the list of things about a week or two before arriving....

「Check in & out was very simple. Inside of cabin very clean & kept nice. Outside could have been better kept, including the yard and lake access/beach area. The lake was disappointing; only offers bullheads, turtles, frogs, & leeches. It was very peaceful with beautiful weather. 」

「Our first night was great the win picked up Friday and an old cottonwood fell on the owners pontoon motor. The neighbor came over and helped me clean up the driveway, incredible people do exist. Host answered my call prompqnd apologized. Mother nature always wins, thank god everyone was safe. 5* hospitality. Woukd recommended this place to anyone! 」

「The property is amazing. Hidden in the woods with excellent shade in the evening. The water front access was great for kayaking and we enjoyed fishing off the dock. Great place for a quiet getaway.」

「This was a lovely get away from the city - about 4 hours from Chicago with an easy drive. It's a new to renting so we were one of the first renters. It's in great shape, it has a grill and the kitchen utensils meant for cabin life. The host was very responsive with any questions we had. We enjoyed the calls of the loons, the dock and the fire pit.
