“We love this property! This is our second trip to Kauai and both times we stayed at this Marriott. The pools are saltwater and so relaxing to be in. We enjoyed the hot tub too. This property is located directly off Poipu Beach. Right down the beach you can see the turtles at sunset and the occasional monk seals. Many of the people who stay there are time share owners but we are not. We basically had a nice hotel room. The reasoning for the 4 stars was our AC. We had maintenance come in on 4……

“Great location for our first trip to this island. Easy to access all the different parts of the island that our planned adventures took us to, great food options nearby, and of all the places we shopped we loved the Kapaa shops the best. “The suite was small but clean and had everything we needed ocean was viewable from the deck. Room was clean. Hotel staff very friendly. The use of the pool and beach and facilities on day of checkout was very nice. The hospitality room to shower and freshen up was extremely helpful and a great perk before heading to the airport. “Unit was very clean and great location /close to poipu beach. Unit was as advertised and super easy check in. Unit was pretty warm at night with A/C set higher than we would’ve liked but we expect that in Hawaii where electric rates are high. We were disappointed that the hot tub was out of order (or under renovations) at the facility but we were at the beach most of the time so it didn’t interfere with anything. All in all a fun trip on our first visit to Kaua’i. ”

"Great value stay in Kauai, especially for families. This is probably the best value hotel we’ve stayed at in Hawaii. It’s not a luxury resort, but it offers everything you need. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained without feeling outdated. The location is a huge plus. It’s close to the airport and within easy walking distance to Coconut Marketplace, where you can find restaurants and a grocery store. Not needing to drive for meals or snacks was extremely convenient. The hotel’s restaurant, Lava Lava Beach Club, is also delicious and worth trying. One of the most memorable moments of our stay was spotting a monk seal resting right on the beach in front of the hotel—such a special and unexpected experience. A couple of small things could be improved: the shower pressure in our room was a bit weak, and the public microwave in the lobby wasn’t very easy to find. Overall, this hotel is a great option for families. Our 2-year-old had a wonderful time here, and we would happily stay again on our next trip to Kauai."
