The Cubes Ella

"The cubes is an ideal mountain retreat , very peaceful. The accommodation was spotless , regularly cleaned and well maintained. The food especially the breakfast was some of the best we experienced in Sri Lanka ,the chef and all the staff including the manager were extremely helpful ,friendly. and polite we cannot recommend highly enough . We will return when we come back to Sri Lanka. 10/10 Thanks for everything."

"An excellent new hotel with superb rooms (room 6 for three). Great heated pool and good value food and drink (swim up bar). Not an issue for us but you'll need to deal with steps to stay here. As you may expect halfway up a hillside. Sensational views btw"

"Great hotel, great service. Other reviews mention good food but to me it was just okay. I got the cheapest room and it was perfect I can’t imagine how the other rooms are. Only negative is we didn’t have a mini fridge ."

"Exceptional Stay with Breathtaking Views and World-Class Hospitality Heaven Breeze Hotel is truly a gem in Ella. Set at a higher elevation, the hotel offers spectacular mountain views that make the stay feel like a retreat in the clouds, while still being very close to the beautiful and lively town of Ella. Its location is also ideal for exploring nearby attractions, including Little Adam’s Peak and Ravana Ella. What made our stay especially memorable was the outstanding hospitality. A special thank you to Sachini, who provided truly world-class guest service with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. The entire staff was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful breakfast service. The staff asked us the night before what we would prefer for breakfast, and everything was prepared fresh and served right on time. A beautiful location, stunning views, wonderful staff, and exceptional service—Heaven Breeze Hotel is highly recommended for anyone visiting Ella. We would happily stay here again!"
Hotel Alta Vista

"Nice hotel but be aware there is an MASSIVE 300 metre hill that is very very steep to get to the entrance. Do not go here if you are old, have bad knees or are not very physically fit. On top of this, there are 8 floors and no lift, so many many stairs. This is the only issue we had, other than that a great place to say and dead central in ella."

"Amazing place. Can’t fault a single thing. We stayed in a two bedroom suite and it was amazing. Staffs are very polite and helpful. Always ready to help with a buggy. Spa was amazing in a very scenic set up. Secluded yet just a few mins drive to main city centre. Pool area is nice but the pool is rather small. Breakfast is very good, made to order. Complimentary guided trek to little Adams peak just behind the resort. They gave discount vouchers for Ravana pool club and zip lining but we didn’t have time to try. Overall fully recommend."
