Great place for family. Lots of things for kids to do on property, like games, balls, courts, Etc. Place was very clean. Kitchen had everything you could need.

We’ll Be Back!

This cabin beside the river literally had everything! We had 4 teenagers with us and they stayed entertained the whole time. Also love that we were able to take our dogs with a small deposit. We are already planning to go back next summer where we can tube the river. I would recommended this place to anyone!

Loved it! Getting there was an adventure on its own. Tucked away in the North Georgia Mountains. Overlooking the Coosawatee River. Gorgeous! Can't wait to return when its warm for all of the summer activities!

We barely needed to leave the house and property! The closet was full of games for indoors, and there were plenty of outdoor activities, with all the equipment necessary. The house was clean and spacious. Downtown Ellijay was a close outing and there were great restaurants.

Hunters Lodge was so nice

We stayed at Hunters Lodge for a long weekend with a bunch of teenagers and the house was so nice and the area was so peaceful. Being on the river was so nice even in December because the fire pit is right on the river and you could hear the river from the house. The kids enjoyed the basketball court and the outdoor ping pong table and the hot tub. They also enjoyed seeing all the deer. The house had everything we needed! The indoor fireplace was amazing! Thank you - we will be back!

Pictures don't do it justice!

AMAZING! It was everything the group wanted AND MORE! If you have a chance to book this place, DO IT! It's a lot of tasks to complete to finalize the booking but once you're done and you arrive for the first time - you realize it was all worth it. The scenery is unmatched, the amenities are a dream, SO MUCH SPACE! I have no complaints about our stay at Hunter's lodge. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful cabin right on the river!

This is a beautiful, updated, and very spacious cabin right on the river that we loved! The property was perfect for a large party -- we had three couples and 5 kids. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all on separate floors, and each has it's own space and privacy with great views of the river. The cabin was very charming, comfortable and very well-stocked. Although we couldn't enjoy all the possible activities due to the weather, the property has so many options -- pool table, hot tub on the deck, a deck over the river, a fire pit right along the river, and a basketball court that got tons of use! We loved the property and look forward to coming back in the warmer weather!

Outside areas of property need a thorough cleaning....muddy yard....steps slippery with mold...spider webs everywhere Inside 🛋 couchs are old and raggedy...recliners bent to side. We washed blankets on couchs because they smelled terrible... Amenities were as advertised kids had a great time Plenty of room to rest comfortably

Hunter Lodge was everything we were looking for and more! There was so much to do that we added another night to our stay because we weren’t ready to leave yet! We played games, built fires by the river, tubed, fished, saw too many deer to count, watched movies, and relaxed... Heaven on earth! We will definitely be back again!

Our "New Favorite"

Our family has been going to the beach for Memorial Day in the past, but decided to try North GA mountains for 2019. This cabin was absolutely amazing! Every appliance, any kind of game, books, anything that you might need, it was most likely there. We had 15 in our party and there was way more than enough room for us all! The outside had so many options for my nephews and nieces(from 6 yrs old to 25); the basketball court, horseshoes, fishing, hanging out at the river, all were spectacular! Even though it was almost 90*, we had to try the fire pit and make S'mores! The peaceful river front was so relaxing and enjoyable. We were not ready to leave and are already trying to figure out schedules for our next stay! Everyone was so very friendly and helpful, booking was also a breeze. Checking in and out was a breeze! The app was also very helpful with all kinds of information. Thanks for sharing your cabin with our family! We can't wait to come back for another stay!

Perfect house for 3 families. So well stocked. Inside and outside exceeded expectations.

We had such fun exploring all the nooks and crannies when we arrived. The inside and outside games added to our enjoyment. We cut down the side trips because there was so much to enjoy on site. A group tubed, little ones played in the river. We took advantage of badmitten, sliding down the hill, basketball, and added corn hole. All screened in porches were utilized. Older kids loved the pool table. We missed gathering around the fire pit because of rain. Lots of board games were played. All the moms and daughters loved cooking together. Our highpoint was celebrating our 50th anniversary with a slide show, prayer, sharing memories, and playing the newlywed game with parents being married 50 yrs and daughters 20 and 25! The 4 days will be a forever memory.

Gorgeous view, well-maintained property

Property was well stocked with everything you'd need, even plenty of towels. Very clean, spacious and has a great view of the river. We enjoyed the hot tub and the pool table. There were plenty of space in the dining area for a large group. Great experience.
