My wife and I stayed at this lovely cabin in late October, taking advantage of my ability to work remotely while also enjoying all the Ellijay and Blue Ridge have to offer.
First the business side, if you are considering a place to work remotely, this cabin is ideal. The lower level is quiet, has a small desk, as well as a table, and an electric fireplace. It was a great set up. The WiFi was perfect. I had multiple Zoom meetings during the week and all went perfectly.
The cabin itself sits on a quiet street just a few minutes drive from the resort entrance. We saw multiple deer in the yard and around the resort throughout the week. The setting was absolutely beautiful.
The cabin is large and open. Two master bedrooms on the upper level, as well as a kitchen, dining and living room area. The screened porch on the upper level was perfect for dinners on cool evenings.
The lower level is as described above and also includes a bunk room that would be great for young kids.
We also enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit as the weather dipped into the 40s during our stay.
Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and would recommended this property to others.
Finally, I knew I had picked the right place when I saw the Florida State University wind chimes on the front porch. Clearly, the cabin owners have such good taste in decor. Go Noles!
