Beautiful cabin close to downtown Ellijay

The home was beautifully decorated and very clean. We loved spending time out at the fire pit and relaxing in the hot tub. Sitting out on the screen porch for morning coffee and family game night was so much fun. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Wonderful Place To Stay

This cabin is beautiful inside and out. We had a group of 8 everyone had plenty of room. It is very clean and well stocked. It has lots of places to sit and relax inside and outside. We had deer come and visit us in the mornings and a sweet family of squirrels in the evening.

Fun Times

We enjoyed the cabin and the area. Kids had the time of the life running and playing in woods, hiking, swimming, mini-golf, and so on. Cabin's kids room was a great place for indoor fun while rained.

Great Spring Break

The Jagged Owl was the perfect cabin for our family of 4. The foosball table was fun for us all, enjoyed cool evenings in the hot tub talking with our 2 kids and relaxing. Location was perfect with other surrounding towns reasonably close by with fun things to do and many trails with different levels of difficulty-ones for the not so avid hiker.to strenuous hikes.Porches were nice for sitting peacefully, reading, listening to music or eating a meal. Kitchen was perfect for cooking quick meals for the family if desired. Living areas were comfortable for relaxation and watching your favorite tv shows.It was clean with all the amenities one needs to enjoy their vacation.Would highly recommend this cabin to others.

Great Getaway For Families

The cabin is located in a great location in Ellijay. There was plenty of space for our family, and we enjoyed the extra amenities such as the hot tub and fire pit.

Bachelorette Trip

We had a group of 7 stay for a bachelorette and we loved the cabin! It was clean, well stocked, and spacious enough for all of us! The owner was very responsive to questions and even let us check in early! We loved our stay!

Awesome stay

My wife and I brought our son, his gf and their 4 kids to vacation with us in the mountains. We have never stayed in this area and found it pretty convenient to Helen and Chattanooga. We enjoyed the stay very much. There is so much room in the cabin. We have never stayed in a place this large. It felt like home to us.

Great family cabin

We loved the cabin! There were deer every afternoon that would graze right off the front porch. The hot tub was great! It was very convenient to grocery stores or fast food if needed and about a 20 minute drive to the rec center. The rec center was great for all my teenage kids to play and have fun.

We probably won’t stay there again, although we go to Coosawattee a lot. House layout was good, but the management was poor. Attention to detail was really lacking. Very dirty porch carpet, Christmas tree that wasn’t secured properly and kept falling on us, dead remotes missing covers, front porch only partially swept, tv instructions inaccurate, etc etc.

Wonderful experience

Cabin was clean, well stocked and provided a great petting for a vacation of 9 people. WiFi was solid, and the deer really are right in the front yard. Would happily stay again! Few of tips for those staying: 1. Apple Maps/Siri will lead you directly to the cabin. Have no fear. 2. When you get to the gate for the resort, ask for a map. It helps a lot! 3. DoorDash/Dominos will deliver directly to the cabin.

Beautiful Property

This property was beautiful and exactly as advertised. We were greeted each morning with several deer in the yard, and even had a momma deer give birth right in the front yard! The cabin itself was clean and stocked exactly as they said, and there was a Walmart very nearby that we could buy groceries from. The directions getting in and out of the resort were tricky, but nothing you couldn’t follow. We just dropped a pin in the driveway and used that each time. As far as the amenities pass for the resort, make sure you request it 3 BUSINESS DAYS in advance. But to be honest, there was so much to do in Ellijay and the surrounding areas, we didn’t even need the pass. The check-out process was super easy - much easier than other properties I’ve visited. All in all we had an amazing vacation and would highly recommend the Jagged Owl!!

Wonderful Property

My wife and I stayed at this lovely cabin in late October, taking advantage of my ability to work remotely while also enjoying all the Ellijay and Blue Ridge have to offer. First the business side, if you are considering a place to work remotely, this cabin is ideal. The lower level is quiet, has a small desk, as well as a table, and an electric fireplace. It was a great set up. The WiFi was perfect. I had multiple Zoom meetings during the week and all went perfectly. The cabin itself sits on a quiet street just a few minutes drive from the resort entrance. We saw multiple deer in the yard and around the resort throughout the week. The setting was absolutely beautiful. The cabin is large and open. Two master bedrooms on the upper level, as well as a kitchen, dining and living room area. The screened porch on the upper level was perfect for dinners on cool evenings. The lower level is as described above and also includes a bunk room that would be great for young kids. We also enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit as the weather dipped into the 40s during our stay. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and would recommended this property to others. Finally, I knew I had picked the right place when I saw the Florida State University wind chimes on the front porch. Clearly, the cabin owners have such good taste in decor. Go Noles!
