Explorer’s Dream

Our family had a wonderful stay at Paradise Found. Our kids, 7 and 5, were living their best lives and exploring the grounds, playing in the creek, hanging out in the hot tub and making s’mores over the firepit. Definitely take groceries and PRINT the directions - we did not have cell service for the last leg of the drive. It was a unique experience, especially fording the creek! It was more than I anticipated but it was fun!!! We will be back this summer!

Ok so cabin was very nice , it’s 30 min from blue ridge , creek was very fun - my pups loved it , had a nice space for grilling, swings on the top and 2nd floor were nice , fire pit by the creek was perfect, air hockey and foosball were fun. rooms were clean , main room was nice, wifi was fast. Downsides - getting there was very confusing , especially at night , if you’re parking next to the cabin they should put an address sign next to their other cabin that shares a main driveway, the hot tube was super rusty or dirty on one side so we didn’t use it, the gas firepit on the 2nd floor didn’t work either. Overall was a nice spot for a family weekend , got an awesome cabin experience, my only issues (as stated above) they could fix very easy

The stay was okay, for the price of the property I figured things would work properly. The fire pit table didn’t work, no gas was connected to it. Unlocking the door you had to shake it so the lock can fully open the door (which we didn’t know about and we were stuck outside for about 20 minutes). The drainage system was terrible, the water does drain in the top level bathtub or sink, so you are showering in your filth. The dishwasher had dirty dishes from the people that stayed prior to us. Also, my 4 year old almost inhaled a vape pen that was left behind on a table from one of the cleaning crew. I let the property manager know about vape pen, but they made it seem like not a big deal. I also informed them on the first night about the drain and they didn’t even write back to me so we were left with using the bathroom downstairs. To be honest this wasn’t the stay we expected and the lack of communication made it that much worst.
