Great stay, only thing that kept from 5 star was damage on floor in hall. It would of been nice for this to be communicated in the incoming communications so we knew you knew about it. Great place great stay. We will be coming back.

Location, location, location! This property is surrounded by acres of silent privacy smack in the middle of the mountainous woods, yet you can be in historic downtown Ellijay within 10 minutes. It’s also quite close to all the apple orchards and Amicalola Falls which is an outstanding state park!
Indoor fireplace makes the whole cabin super cozy!
Our dog LOVED to roam the property sniffing all the outdoor sniffs!

Amicalola Falls is quite close (maybe a 25 minute drive past most of the major orchards Ellijay is locally famous for) ;-)

Sweet little cabin. Quiet at the end of the road. Easy ride. Large hot tub. Close to town and great wineries. Great for a weekend getaway. Any longer and you will have to wash laundry and do dishes. Very limited number of forks and spoons and towels.Our code did not work to the front door, but the owner replied ASAP with a new code, and we had no other problems.

Toilet seat was broken . Pots and pans were cheep and rusting . Knifes were so dull they were not functional . Shower head leaked . Tub stain around it .Only had two bath towels and no bath mat . Only one dish towel and a dish cloth . Bed mattress had stains . Windows were so dirty in some rooms you could not see through the spider webs . Outside furniture was not clean .

We had the most relaxing stay here for our anniversary. We came with our dog and she loved it as well. The home is very private with lots of nature to enjoy. Any issues we had were minor and the host was great. We would stay here again!

You can’t always get what you want, but sometimes you get what you need! Rolling Stones.

It was an impromptu idea to stop in GA mtns on our way home from Branson. Last minute reservations, so slim pickings. We so lucked out being able to reserve a 2 bedroom, 1 bath in East Ellijay. Reserved 3 nights but were fortunate to reserve one more night!

Clean lovely place in a rustic environment. Nice hot tub & close to restaurants. Love the rocking chairs amongst all the trees. Did some nice hiking around the house. Very delightful.

4th of July Getaway

Cute cabin, good location. Specifically rented this cabin due to its privacy and being dog friendly. Clean inside, outside could use some work. Nice touches including spare dog leash, food and water bowls. S’mores kit left by cleaning crew but we did not use it since the fire pit had trash in it upon check in. If you plan on streaming (fubo, Netflix), forget it. Internet was a problem and went out several times during our stay. Beds hard as rocks. If you like super firm beds, this cabin is for you. Porch ceiling fan did not work and falling a part. Brought 2 meals to grill but guess what, grill didn’t work either. Contacted the host who responded promptly by saying it would be addressed. Didn’t explore area behind cabin due to it being overgrown and snake season. Not handicap accessible for any who are considering. Cabin had a for sale sign in the yard during our stay. Overall a nice stay with easy check in process but needs some major updates!

DO NOT STAY HERE

Grass was waist high & I was afraid to walk dog. Outside space was so dirty with debris, dirt, bugs, spiders hanging in webs all over the porch and walkway, windows filthy inside & out and thresholds thick with dirt and bugs. I have pictures & video. The Gas Grill, the outside ceiling fan & toaster - didn’t work. BR ceiling fans both rocked so badly & so loud you couldn’t use them to sleep & afraid they would literally fall. Only One bathroom & the exhaust fan doesn’t work. Half the lightbulbs are missing. Garbage from last guests was obviously left in outside garbage can, like you’re asked to do, but when we arrived the garbage can was turned over and trash strewn everywhere. My husband had to clean it up. The fire pit was so full you would have to clean it out to use it and some of the furniture around the fire pit looked like it had been pulled out of a dumpster and left there. This was our 40th anniversary If the property owner is personally taking care of this property, they should be ashamed. When you pull up, it looks abandoned. Road washed out & rutted. You need a 4 WD to get to the cabin. You’re not told that when you book your dates only when they send your check-in info and have your money. If they are paying someone to keep up the property, they need a new service. It wasn’t cheap and wasn’t worth it. I have pictures to prove it and several videos but you can’t post videos here.
