This large cabin is wonderful

The view from the living room is wonderful. Everything is really nice. This is a minor thing, but the floorboards creak. It's just that when you go to the bathroom or get up before your partner, you'll be heard. Everything else is great. The view, the water, the wineries, the restaurants...great!

Yearly apple fest.

Loved the location and the view. Quiet peaceful lots of wildlife. We are American Legion Members and this was right around the corner from the Post.

Decent property, no Wifi

The property was well situated and the inside was decent. Lots of wood and nice decorations. The furniture and bed were quite uncomfortable. The Wifi did not work and guest services did nothing to fix. Overall, an okay spot to use if wanting to explore north Georgia. Just be warned about the lack of Wifi connectivity with internet access.

Awesome long weekend

This home was perfect. We had a great time. Calling the staff with questions I had was a great experience too. Usually photos of a house are never what they appear to be. Not in this case. House was awesome. I wish there were trout in the river but that is in no way any fault of the owner. We are so happy we got to enjoy an awesome time with our grandson and our 2 dogs.

2 week stay … worth every penny

We had a wonderful 2week stay through rain and sunshine. The house provided us for everything my wife myself and our two little boys( our dogs) needed. Had one small hiccup where the AC quit and it got a little warm but from the time I called there was less then an hr before a very professional and knowledgeable technician was there and had it fixed. Literally the only thing was some times on The Weeknd or night it took a while at the gate for them to answer so we could get in. Other then that loved it got to adventure to a few of the local scenic attractions and if we’re ever back in Ellijay Ga we will be looking into this place

Enjoyed stay but not as listed

Home was enjoyable with spacious outside area for getting out by creek. Outside glass unclean, sliding glass doors both unusable and screens either missing or damaged. POOL, no pool !!! Pool is listed as on plantation but fact is that it is actually on another property owned by same company some 15 minutes away.

Last and only visit to this “resort”!

The house was in Coosawattee River Resort. The house interior was OK but dated. Wi-Fi was good but there was no cable TV service. The AC unit worked great. There is a nice walkway and rock steps that lead to the water. The Beds were too hard. The deck was in need of repair in spots and had one handrail that was completely rotted. The only deck furniture overlooking the river was a steel bench covered in rust. The river in front was nice but there was a busy road just on the other side that took away from the peace and quiet. We could smell cigarette smoke from the cabin next door. The biggest issue is the layout of the resort and the roads. The roads are narrow, curvy and dangerous. We had 3 near head on collisions with others who were going way too fast for the conditions. There are no shoulders on any of the roads and one small mishap will leave you stuck or overturned. The last road to our unit was gravel with an area of mud holes we had to navigate. We only drove the roads in daylight and could not imagine navigating them on a rainy night. I wish I had taken the time and researched before booking here.

Perfect Getaway Cabin

River Holiday getaway 2022

We enjoyed a fabulous view with river access that we used daily. The home was clean, well described in the pictures and summary, and furnished nicely with everything we needed in the kitchen (except a tea pitcher....minimal inconvenience considering EVERYTHING else was perfect!). Furniture was comfortable. The river access was fabulous for our adventurous family!

A dream vacation home

The place was ready for us - clean and welcoming. There was everything that we needed for this short stay. It's the 2nd time we are here in the last 6 months and it was worth coming back. Vacassa were attentive to our comments from the first stay and we were pleasantly surprised to see that things changed such as adding a toaster a water kettle, etc.

Probably the Best Deal in the Coosawattee River Resort

Great location on the river and cabin and property were beautiful. We drove through the entire resort and didn't see anything else to compare. Excellent customer service, too. The coffee maker was broken, and they delivered a new one a short time later. The AC also went out and a repairman actually came out that night to fix it. Overall, a wonderful experience. We'll definitely be back.

We enjoyed our stay in River Holiday. The cabin was comfortable and we had everything we needed. The outside furniture needs to be updated. Table and chairs on outside deck was dangerous, not safe to use.

The haven on hearth

Great option

The house was immaculate! Extraordinarily cleaned and well organized as well. It was very spacious and sufficient to celebrate the new year! Only disappointment was the brown color of the flowing river and the construction next door that started and continued at all hours.

Nov 20-23 2021 stay

House/cabin was very nice, spotless upon arrival, well stocked, a lot of the utensils looked brand new. The decks are very nice to sit on, and there is plenty of lighting inside and outside. Communication with management was prompt and professional. The river is a lot closer than the pictures represent although being fall, and all of the leaves were gone, probably made a difference. Also there is a highway close to the river so if you want to listen to the sounds of the river, you need to catch it early or later. There is a nice park, just a short piece up the road, where you can listen to the river. The geese are plentiful on the river and we enjoyed watching them. Deer showed up every morning for a visit, and a beaver let us know we were getting to close to him one night. Ha. There is a house being built next door but we never heard any noise and was not an issue. Overall an A+ expierence.

Great cabin getaway.

The cabin was very comfortable and clean. Everything we needed was supplied. We will definitely recommend to family and friends who vacation in North Georgia.
