Birch Grove is professionally cleaned between every stay. All bed linens and towels are provided and freshly laundered between every guest.

KITCHEN AND DINING

The open kitchen has modern appliances, custom cabinetry and generous counter space, with a gas cooktop, convection wall oven, convection microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer, plus a reverse osmosis water tap. You'll also find a toaster, blender, slow cooker and Instant Pot, pots and pans, baking dishes and sheet pans, dishes and flatware, wine glasses, and children's plates, bowls and utensils. Coffee lovers get a Cuisinart drip coffee maker and a Keurig, with starter packs of Door County Coffee.

Other provided supplies include starter packs of Door County Coffee and filters, shampoo, conditioner, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, facial tissue, and dishwasher and laundry supplies. Body soap and shower gel, a hair dryer, an iron and ironing board, hangers and cleaning products are provided. A first aid kit, a flashlight, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors and fire extinguishers (including one in the gazebo) are on site.



Guest Access:

Guests have the entire home to themselves, along with five acres of private woods and peaceful walking trails, the back deck, the front porch and the three-season gazebo. Off-street parking is available for up to six cars, and snow removal is provided in winter.

Birch Grove sits in the quiet countryside just outside Ellison Bay, offering privacy and easy access to northern Door County's most beloved destinations. Explore Ellison Bay for local restaurants, shops and waterfront views, or take a short drive to Sister Bay and Gills Rock for more dining, galleries and activities. Newport State Park, Wisconsin's only International Dark Sky Park, is minutes away and known for its hiking trails, shoreline views and unforgettable stargazing.



Getting Around:

Birch Grove is easy to reach by car, just off Highway 42 north of Ellison Bay. From here you can explore Sister Bay, Gills Rock and Fish Creek, along with the parks, beaches and scenic drives that make Door County so special.

Birch Grove is professionally managed by DoCo Vacations, a locally owned Door County vacation rental company. DoCo arranges professional cleaning between stays and handles guest communication and after-hours phone support for emergencies or any other questions. Our standard check-in time is 4:00 p.m., and our standard check-out time is 10:00 a.m.. Furniture and decor may differ from the photos.



•Exterior cameras monitor the driveway, front porch and back deck for safety.

•The home is on a private well that is tested annually and safe for drinking, with a reverse osmosis tap at the kitchen sink.

•Please bring beach towels if you plan to visit nearby beaches.

•Wi-Fi and cell service may vary due to the rural location.

•The home is in a wooded setting. You may encounter mosquitoes, spiders and other insects.



Interaction with Guests:

We pride ourselves on creating a streamlined experience whenever and wherever possible. You'll check in with a keypad door lock. You'll receive all of your check-in instructions digitally, along with our digital guidebook of favorite Door County spots.
