Calgary Elliston Park Hotels

"Can’t say we had a smooth experience with Four Points Sheridan at Calgary Airport. We waited on hold for 25 min at the airport waiting for hotel staff to arrange the shuttle service for us- we ended up hanging up and just waited until we eventually saw the shuttle arrive- over an hour wait. The next morning we asked the reception for a map of Calgary downtown as we were heading in for the day- she gave a map of Banff? We had breakfast on our last day and when we checked our account we had been charged twice. The restaurant was closed under renovation the entire time. The self serve coffee / tea station was stone cold. The bus stop was close , McDonald’s & Tim Hortons was in the car park which was a bonus as it’s not really close to much else. Sorry can’t say I would stay here again. The place was clean just appeared to me that they had no care in the world if you had a good experience or not."

"Excellent hotel. We have stayed here twice and though the area is not the best end of town (or the worst either) we have never had an issue and the interior/restaurant is superb. Don’t be alarmed with all the planes flying over, we have not heard any while in the room. Pool is great for all ages with a section even for babies/tots. Highly recommend for your family!"

"First of all I feel the name on this hotel location is misleading. It is not near the airport. I made a mistake and thought it was the other Holiday Inn close to the Calgary airport. I was dropped off so I had to take a $35 taxi ride to get to this hotel. I was one of 6 people that afternoon that made the same error. My room was right beside the elevator so all I heard all night was people going in and out. Also my fridge in my room was making a loud noise every time it started. I mentioned to staff when I checked out. They said sorry but I would have preferred a discount offer. I will not be staying with you hotel ever again."

"Room was dirty upon check in, used flossers on floor, giant balls of hair. Main wall had floor to ceiling crack and ceiling had loads of large cracks and stains. Disappointing for a Marriott property at any level. Not the experience we were expecting unfortunately. Staff were unable to communicate in English or unwilling to help. Fortunately there was a helpful supervisor who confirmed they would address the room and repair the defects after our check out. "

"Strongly recommend avoid this hotel. Smoke detector was visibly broken. Hallways smelled like urine. Bedroom dingy and hairs from previous guests found in both beds. The shower and bath didn’t work because the faucet wouldn’t turn, was broken. Area of town was somewhat sketchy so overall would definitely avoid. Front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly and great though. "
