Perfect for two people, this spotless, newly renovated and well-appointed apartment will provide a relaxing retreat to enjoy your vacation. Nestled by the shore of Union Bay, this second-floor apartment (stairway access) is quiet and private, yet close to everything you may want to enjoy--shopping, antiquing, great restaurants/bars, hiking, biking, kayaking, sight-seeing, beaches, whale watching, golfing, Schoodic Peninsula, Lamoine State Park Beach to name a few!! Sea Glass Way has a living room, kitchen/dining room, 1 bedroom with a queen bed, 1 full bath with washer/dryer. Ample, well-lit area for parking, front deck with bar table and chairs, outdoor picnic area with gas grill. Kitchen has all cooking utensils needed including Keurig, Mr. Coffee. Secure keyless entrance door lock. There are two sets of stairs (one inside and one outside) to access the apartment. The views of Union Bay, from the deck, are spectacular!

We enjoyed your immaculate and well-decorated apartment. We saw deer in the yard every day and starry skies at night, quiet and peaceful. We drove into Bar Harbor and Acadia NP every day. Thank you for the recommendation to eat at the Union River Lobster Pot, delicious seafood!

Hosts were extremely responsive to requests and very helpful. They did a good job of anticipating needs and providing many thoughtful touches that make staying here extra easy. For example, we used the small cooler they provided every single day. This was farther from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor than we anticipated, so we packed the cooler every day with drinks and snacks. So helpful. I'm not a coffee drinker but my wife is & she lit up when we discovered that coffee was provided and they also had two travel coffee mugs available. Perfect! Laundry detergent for a few loads; not expected but so thoughtful. Access to the upstairs unit was simple & instructions were clear. All of the big items you expect are covered and then all the little touches make this place, and the hosts WINNERS!PS - A few mornings/evenings we enjoyed some whitetail deer nibbling clover in the yard. Fun!

The apartment was very comfortable and had all we needed. The view of the water was nice from the porch. Appliances in great shape and the bed was comfortable. The location is secluded an convenient to amenities in Ellsworth and Acadia, Bar Harbor, etc. Our hosts had good recommendations for us. Of particular note was the whale watching. Our voyage took us to see many whales, plus two flukes up and a breach. We add to that the e-bike rental at Acadia that toured (self-guided) the carriage trails. This was amazing.

Sea Glass Place was a very clean and comfortable rental with all the amenities for a vacation on the coast. The location provided beautiful and serene views of the bay in a quiet neighborhood great for walking or relaxing outside on the deck. It was a 25 minute drive to Bar Harbor and an hour to Bangor or Portland. I highly recommend for your next couples getaway.

We had a great stay. The place was VERY clean, quiet and certainly peaceful. Everything you could possibly need for our trip was provided (Coffee maker, cups, plates, utensils, etc.). It's convenient to both shopping (5 mins.) and local attractions including Acadia (30 mins.). 5 stars!

The Perfect Place!

This property is ideally located in a peaceful neighborhood with picturesque views away from all the traffic and noise of the city, yet just a few miles from Bar-Harbor! It’s impeccably clean throughout, very well organized from bedroom to bathroom to kitchen! It’s very cozy and comfortable. Very comfortable bed and furniture. The only downside, (if any), is the stair climb because it’s above a 4 car garage, but there’s access up to the rental through the garage and straight up the stairs inside. I noticed that not only does the rental area smell and look fresh and clean, but the garage is also very clean, organized, and smells good as well! I think this rental must be pretty new from the looks of everything! If a flight of stairs isn’t an issue for you, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property!

Locate was great, wonderful view of the water while we had wine on the patio, wild turkeys greeted us as we pulled into the driveway, amenities were nice to have, especially (coffee!! And breakfast bars) Everything we needed was provided and kitchen was fully stocked with everything necessary! Bed was SO comfortable! Thanks for the great place to stay while we were visiting the area!! We’d stay again if we come back to the area!

Well equipped, Spacious, Clean, Beautiful

We had a very comfortable stay at this apartment. It has all the conveniences of home and plenty of room for two! The neighborhood was quiet, safe and beautiful. The kitchen was very well equipped with just about everything you need. Having a washer/dryer right in the apartment was also very convenient. Communication with the hosts was easy and clear. We had dinners on the balcony just about every night to enjoy the beautiful weather and sunsets. We often saw deer walking through the neighborhood. We also saw some seals on the rocks WAY out in the harbor. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again! Thank you to our hosts for sharing their little slice of paradise!

Nature at your fingertips

We loved the Apartment! It's balcony porch opened the amazing world of the Union River ebbing and flowing every day. The nature show was delightful everyday! Karen did an amazing job! The Kitchen is effectively and beautifully stocked with everything you need to cook a simple meal. The bed was great! The living space is comfortable and nicely furnished. The location of the apartment is great too. It's off the beaten path but convenient to all that Ellsworth and beyond has to offer! I'd highly recommend this apartment.
