“This was at least our 5th stay here, and it was, as always, a wonderful experience. The condo itself is set up perfectly for our group of 4 adults, 2 tween/teens and the family dog. Communication with the hosts is friendly and fast, and they are very responsive to requests and any last-minute issues (always on our end) that come up, as well as open to suggestions. They also go out of their way to share any knowledge of special events and opportunities in the area during our stay. The amenities……

“My wife and I spent the weekend with our son finishing college at Penn State Altoona. We were out and about most of the weekend, but the house was a nice place to come “home” to each night. Definitely quiet and safe.”

“If you need to stay in the Blue Knob area, this is a nice place to stay. We weren’t at the condo for any length of time only to sleep, as we had several family events to attend. But enjoyed our stay!!”

“When staying at a historic inn or hotel, I want to see some history. My husband and I enjoyed reading the old news clippings and historic details on the walls. The room, furnished with antiques, was very clean; nothing was sticky and the only noticeable dust was on the TV stand. Breakfast was in a pretty dining room. They accommodated our toddler by giving her cushions to sit on, milk in a child-sized cup, and a straw.”

“Evelyn checked me in and found a small error with my check in. She went above and beyond to correct the situation for me without hesitation. She provided me with conversation as i waited. She gave off such a warm welcome. True customer service. ”

“Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Breakfast decent. Hot items to choose and waffles, fruit, cereals and muffins. We were passing through and stayed for only one night but would have loved to stay longer. I definitely recommend. Also quiet which was nice. ”

“It is a very nice hotel, was convenient for us. The TV remote did not work. Staff replaced batteries but this did not solve the problem. Hotel was under remodeling construction and was being completed in an orderly fashion that did not disturb the guests.”
