  • Now connected to the "Prospectors Trail Trailhead" The largest "OHV" (Off Highway Vehicle) System in the State of Minnesota. Bring you're "ATV" "UTV" "Snowmobile" And have a ball ! We have plenty of parking for you're trucks and trailers. Fiber-Optic Cable T.V.- WiFi- Internet Is lightning fast. 60 inch Sharp 4K HD Flat screen on swivel wall mount. 14 Foot "Smoker Craft" Aluminum fishing boat with Minn Kota electric trolling motor provided for guests unlimited use, gas grill with full tank ready to start the BBQ now. This amazing little lodge/cabin is the only structure on Kaunonen lake. Featuring 80 acres of complete privacy, located in the heart of the "Iron Range" Embarrass Minnesota, less than 15 miles to "Giants Ridge" or "Babbitt" less than 30 Minutes to "Ely" or "Lake Vermilion" 2-bedrooms and 2- bathrooms, modern interior, and of course the "VIEWS" open year round. Don't short change your experience on some tiny hotel or condo with no room to really relax. Have your own private lodge on your own private lake. If you can top that. "go for it" otherwise please come and enjoy the hospitality i always deliver to my renters.

The property was clean and features many amenities. There is one full bath (tub/shower combo) and a half bath. Roku TV setup with access to all the normal TV streaming apps, plus Live TV channels. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and any utensils you need. The gas grill outside worked well. Explored the lake a little with the included boat and caught a crappie and some other small fish (all released back). Thank you for the stay, Mitch!

Very nice and quiet place, alot of wildlife

Fishing nearby lakes was really good, food in nearby town was outstanding. And plenty of room for three adults. Very nice retreat. I'd do it again.

Great little cabin. If you're looking for upscale cabin, this is not for you. If you're looking for a perfect little cabin to fish or ride, this is the place to go!! Access to ATV trails nice and close, no trailering just get in sxs and go.
