"Location of the house is within the grounds of the owners property so is private and not overlooked by neighbours. Quiet and peaceful. The cottage is quite old inside and is in need of updating and modernising. We heard mice in the bedroom but this is to be expected as the house is in woodland.
Overall a pleasent stay."

"We had a wonderful stay in a charming vacation house. Everything was as advertised. The host, was very supportive when one of us fell ill and needed a doctor. The house is situated on a nice estate with several old building and renovations are on going. But we never experiencend any nuisance from the construction. There are some nice walking options from the house and shops are 15 minutes drive away. We would definitely come back again. "

"Last review was from 2020. Unfortunately time has not helped. In May 2024 we encountered serious mold smell as we entered the apartment building, extending to the apartment. We had a serious allergic reaction to the mold and could not stay in the apartment. We left without unpacking and booked another hotel elsewhere. Neither the Owner nor Expedia through which we booked would refund the rental cost even though the apartment was uninhabitable to us."

We got a very warm welcome from the owners, misses Wiese drove us around the beautiful premises in a golf car, accompanied by their sweet dog Argos. The holiday house is 100 years old, authentic and has all you need. Our son loved to climb and play on some recent fallen trees, every day it was on the to do list. Empfehlenswert Ihr Angebot den eigenen Wagen auf einen gesicherten Parkplatz gegen ein Entgelt abzustellen. Das Ferienhaus liegt am Rande der Altstadt so dass man alles zu Fuß erreichen kann.
