“Upon check in there was a sign at the front desk to let guests know that the pool and hot tub were not working. There was no indication when it would be reopening and it did not open during the two night weekend stay that I was there. The in room TV did not work, either. Staff did not replace it although they weee notified. Not sure what the problem was. There were literally four cars in the parking lot the entire stay. This hotel is under new ownership. Maybe that is the issue. Walls in the……

“The pool was freezing and the hot tub was bathwater warm. We let the kids swim in the hot tub because the pool was too cold. The staff was friendly but hard to get a hold of. At one point in time, I stood with my one year old in front of the front desk for about six minutes, while the person running it stood outside and talked with other employees.”

“The breakfast was nice and included. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean, but the property is showing its age. The price seems high given the overall quality, but options are limited in Spencer and likely as good as you will find.”
