「The owners are super nice」

「I am shocked that the Inn at the Beach has 9.8 stars. The location was the best feature, close to the beach and walkable to downtown. We arrived to a room filled with black hair all over the bathroom, a cockroach on the floor, and a smell that lasted the whole weekend. We politely told the front desk and they re-cleaned the room but there was still black hair everywhere. We were told the reason for the smell was the sprinklers were on earlier in the day. 「Check in and out was a breeze. Our room was ready an hour early, The staff was courteous and friendly. We were there on the 4th, so the place was packed. Still not long waits for food and drinks. Our room faced the bay. We could see the fireworks from our room and they were spectacular. We stayed at the villa suites, strongly recommend. We have had several family members stay here and they all rave about it.」

「Booking the room was easy with no issues. Lady at front desk was pleasant but not super informative. It is an older motel, but a lot better than we anticipated, actually.
