The room was clean. AC was cold and shower was hot. Location is very good to beaches and restaurants. Hotel is old, but clean. The BAD. So when you park your car it's at the Front door. There is a back door to the pool area. I found the Do Not Disturb sign in the kitchen counter. So, what did I do when we left I put it on our front door. My wife left All her jewelry out. When we returned, the room had been cleaned! When we went to the office they said they would look into it. Immediately, the Manager who checked me in said there was no sign on door. When I told him it was on front door he said it should be on back door. No one ever told me it needed to be on back door. When I disagreed he got very rude, even threatened to throw me out! I paid for the whole stay upon check-in. He said my wife was being rude. He got 2 other employees there to cheer him in. SUPER rude and wrong! The least he could have done was say his mistake in not saying anything about where to hang sign. Instead, he got loud and NEVER apologized. He even got insulted when we told him we had to check our belongings now. He made the rest of our stay very uncomfortable . BE Aware.

Site photos far ourweigh the actual status. Not a deluxe property as claimed. Furniture and cabinetry in room were in poor condition and in several places, masking tape was used to secure loose laminate. Nothing matched in the kitchenette. Dishware looked as if purchased separately at Goodwill store (which actually might have better stuff). Electric stove only had three functioning burners. Painted walls were scuffed and not repaired. There was no closet for hanging clothes. The only really nice area was the pool but there was a lot of trash strewn about. Could not contact the front desk from room - had to call in on cell phone to main number.

IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE STAY AWAY!! Paid and checked in to our room. Then we saw the room was not anything close to the pictures. It clearly smelled mold. We tried to get a partial refund. They refused it. When we informed them that we will be sharing our experience and pictures on expedia, the management called the police and got us out of property and still charged us for the stay, effectively stealing our money. If you like India slums without going to India, this is the perfect place!

I came in on an early bus, and the staff was so lovely they let me check in 3 hours early without an extra charge. When I got to my room it was so clean I could have eaten off the floor. Everything was perfect. I would love to stay here next time I require accommodations in Venice. My rating is 12 out of 10, I'm beyond pleased with the experience.

place was okay overall, no ventilation in the bathrooms while using showers. Surface mold on the ceilings. Very obvious. Place was clean however and a decent location. When you scroll through their pictures, you get the illusion there is a kitchen inside the units. There is no kitchen! Keep that in mind before booking!

Place is old, used and abused, needs a complete tear down. Parking wasn't a problem and we had a spot right in front of our room to monitor for possible break-in/theft. Residential homes just across the street behind the property. Very busy area, lots of traffic noise which was not much of an issue since the ceiling fans & a/c units were providing their own loud entertainment. First unit smelled like urine, had to move to another. One of the tv's had audio but no picture. Not a lot of space to put our belongings, had to buy some hangars, just a lot of nitpicky stuff that turns a decent stay into a hassle. Oh well, it was only $250 per night so I should be grateful for such a cheap room. Will not stay there again, would not recommend.

We totally enjoyed our stay , staff was polite and helpful. Nice clean room , the pool was beautiful. It was not noisy .. The room is comfortable. The little bistro was a very nice surprise .. If I had know how nice the hotel and the town and beach was ,,I Would Not have wasted my time going to the keys .. I would’ve stayed there and enjoyed it much better

If you like a vintage motel that reminds you of a way back motor lodge, this is the perfect place for you. No phone in the room with everyone having cell phones now. The walk to the office is simple and short. Free coffee! Great ice machine and Coke vending machine. It was very low-key and not many people since they don’t have a lot of rooms. So nice! The area is safe with modern conveniences close. There’s a Publix and Dollar General within walking distance. We did need to Uber to the beach but it was inexpensive. The on-site restaurant serves breakfast and brunch and has amazing homemade cinnamon rolls and homemade donuts on Saturday and Sunday mornings. The food is excellent anytime. The pool was a perfect temp and very relaxing. Handy to get to from any room. Loved the French doors in the room to get to the courtyard and pool. The staff there are wonderful. Extremely nice and helpful. You see them cleaning almost 24 seven a day. It’s a family run business. I had an issue with the microwave in my room and it was immediately replaced. I will definitely go back. Great rates for a FL vacation and get away. It wouldn’t be the place for you if you expect tons of amenities and modern touches, but it was ideal for me!

No lighted sign in front of Motel. and it was dark outside. No one in the office had to call to talk to a remote person. Asked for an extra blanket and it never showed up. The code would not open the door to our room so they had to change it to a different room. Dirty spots on the blanket that was also the bedspread.
