Your stay in Englewood will be fun filled & relaxing in this charming bungalow. A fully fenced back yard and off-street parking allows for ample privacy. The full front screen porch offers extra space for morning coffee or cozy outdoor entertaining. The large backyard with private shower is a real plus to relax on a warm afternoon of grilling out or just having some cool beverages. The open floorplan offers ample living and dining space. It easily sleeps 4 with a sleep sofa & comfortable queen size bedroom. Englewood is being discovered by beach lovers looking for award winning shores that aren't over run. There was no host interaction, which I’m definitely ok with. This place needs a little TLC though. The backyard was not in good condition, I don’t think anyone has taken any care there in months. I didn’t want to sit out there because it felt like the slums. The toilet seat wouldn’t stay up, my husband had to rig a clip for it to stay. Other little items seemed in disrepair.

The Blue Pineapple Delight is located in a nice residential community, was very clean and comfortable and we so appreciated the extra steps that Lisa made to meet our needs while we were there. Well equipped kitchen as well as beach chairs and a small cooler for our beach days made our stay quite enjoyable. My husband loved the outdoor shower also.

Basic but it works

We have rented properties in Venice and Bonita Springs. Although this didn’t compare, it met our needs. On the plus side, it offers nice privacy in a residential neighborhood. Enjoyed the outdoor space.

We enjoyed the Blue Pineapple for the 2 nights as we traveled to southern FL. Luck for us the Seafood festival was happening on Dearborn st and which we were able to walk to. The house is as pictured in the listing.

Great location and comfortable home

The location is a couple of blocks from a very nice park with boat launch and is also close to Dearborn street which has restaurants and shopping. Its a short drive to Manasota Key and other waterfront areas. At first glance the curb appeal and neighborhood looked a bit ‘worn’ but its actually a very nice neighborhood and the home has been completely remodeled. We stayed there for three weeks and it felt like home. The hostess was generous with toiletries, beddings, towels and kitchen items. We had no issues or problems. We intend on returning for another stay!

Work trip

I am working nearby this summer and needed a safe, pet-friendly and spacious cottage to stay. This checked all the boxes and the owner was very gracious with checking in/out dates. I even picked a fresh pineapple out of the front yard to eat! It’s an “old Florida” vibe in the neighborhood, super close to beach area and next to a Boy Scout lodge. As a female traveling with my daughter I felt safe. The washer/dryer was appreciated! We enjoyed the screened porch in the evenings. The cottage is very spacious and neighbors are quiet. It’s close to everything in town and a stone’s throw from Sarasota, Venice & Port Charlotte. The bathroom is very large and modern as well. You can’t go wrong with the Blue Pineapple!

Fur baby friendly paradise

This was our 9 annual snowbird vacation but first with our new pup. I do my homework yearly and knew where this little paradise is located. We travel with a 16ft enclosed trailer with motorcycles and there was plenty of parking for that. We love the area as it’s surrounded by great beaches from Boca Grande to Casey Key and not far from the Brohard Paw park and beach in Venice. The weather wasn’t as good as in past years but better than being at home in Tennessee where it was 5° and snow!! We don’t eat out a lot but we do have a few favorites. We do a lot of cooking and eating in and the grill came in very handy. The fenced back yard was a big hit for our Lily chasing squirrels. The front lanai with the morning sun was great for morning coffee and we had many campfires at night. Besides the weather we couldn’t have ask for a better place to vacation and would definitely stay again! Thank you Lisa for letting stay at your Blue Pineapple Delight ❤️
