Older ski motel with very accommodating staff. Perfect for one night visit to Crystal mountain. Nothing fancy, but a clean place to stay with a comfortable bed.
Our room was basic but clean. JD was a great host. He is friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable. He shared lots of useful and interesting information that made our stay even more enjoyable.
Really cute place! Slightly confusing to figure out the layout of the village if you arrive after dark. The room had everything we needed but a slightly leaky faucet. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful!

Great staff, restaurant and location. There was some construction going on that would limit access to the Alpine Lodge where we stayed but overall we had a pleasant stay...
Location of the hotel is perfect for Mountain Skiing, no problems with parking. We visited in summer time and ride the gondola. Very nice view from the top of the mountain.
The room had older carpet floor, everything else was very good. Pleasant stay after all.
Check-in was easy, and staff was courteous and helpful! Construction in front of the hotel and no helpful signs to get you inside. Restaurant was great! Room was small and beds were awful - uncomfortable and noisy.

This is a quiet place to sleep. Beautiful place to venture out and explore. Staff was available, but not go out of the way helpful. Breakfast at other lodge was great and owner friendly as we ventured around the lodge. The common room upstairs was nice with puzzles, games and a fireplace, although we didn’t need it in August. Our room was downstairs and we heard footsteps constantly. The local fox was enjoyable to watch and play.

This place is incredibly dated, I think that may be the reason behind the smells and difficulty with cleaning (when the finish is gone, things stay dingy -I know this from professional experience with a cleaning company) however I will say the location is good given the close food options. The staff was phenomenal! Very helpful with all my questions. We drove to Sunrise day 1 and paradise day 2. Overall, we still had a good experience thanks to the excellent staff.
We stopped here for the night after visiting Mt Ranier all day, and honestly I wish I’d been able to plan more time at this hotel. The staff were all so nice, great rooms, views, and awesome things to do all right on property. I love the personality of this place. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate very well with us either, but we will definitely be coming back and planning a longer stay!
Liked everything. Very picturesque. The staff at the front desk went out of their way to accomodate us when we arrived early by putting us in another room at no extra cost.

Location was convenient for getting to sunrise early but very limited choice in terms of restaurants or stores to get a quick bite. Room was what you’d expect for a rustic ski hotel, but we didn’t expect the folded towels to be dirty. The front desk was closed in the evening and wasn’t open by the time we checked out, so not possible to get the issues addressed. Don’t think we’ll come back again.

No a/c. Redoing walkway to our hotel and dragging luggage through gravel was very difficult - as was lugging it up the flight of stairs. Room was tidy but wouldn’t say clean, electrical outlets cracked and need attention. Overall the property needs updating. Spotty WiFi. Gondola was amazing and the view of Mt. Rainier at the top was breathtaking. There are Adirondike chairs to sit in at the top and a restaurant/bar. The proximity of the hotel to this and Mr. Rainier Park was perfect. Parking plentiful. Gas up before you get here as the nearest has station is about 25 mins away.
