Perfect Place

Cara’s Cabin was the perfect place to stay! Very cute and comfortable; fully stocked and clean. Close to everything, with off street parking, easy to find and easy to check in. Loved staying here and would stay here again.

Nice and cozy cabin. Good place to stay. Close by Ephraim. Note, Wifi didn't reliably work and we didn't have cell-service, so you will have to travel into Ephraim for those two. A nice way to stay in Door County off the grid and cook meals without having to go out for every meal.

It was our first time in the area and it was perfect for what we needed. It had all the amenities, charm, and comfort. My favorite part was the location/neighborhood because it was quiet and right next to the nature park (perfect for our dogs). It was also just a short walk to the water/restaurants.

My husband and I stayed 5 nights and have no complaints! We took our 2 dogs and had a wonderful time. The cabin was clean, comfortable and very relaxing. We loved it. Definitely would stay here again.

Charming log cabin

It’s a charming log cabin with one bed and a pull out futon. It was clean and comfortable and Emily was a good communicator. It backs up to a nature reserve with nice hiking trails. We enjoyed our stay there.

Quaint log cabin experience

Loved the ambience of the cabin, it was comfortable and really made it feel like we were living back in time (minus the modern additions). We were thankful the night was cool so we could use the fire place.

Our experience at Cara’s Cabin was an ABSOLUTE DISASTER!We checked in last Saturday, August 9,(5PM-CST) as Ephraim, WI, was experiencing a county-wide power outage.Needless to say, we were without electricity,,water and no toilet facilities. We purchased food, which spoiled and decided to rough it out for one night, and return the next morning.The owner was kind enough to grant us a partial refund, as we only stayed one night in the darkness.

Perfect long weekend

Great bestie weekend! Perfect location and enjoyed a hike on the Land Trust right out the back yard (literally). Great accommodations and attention to vacationers needs. Authentic log cabin perfect for a nice long weekend of laughing and relaxing! If you stay please notice “the bird” on the wall above the futon!! So great!
