The spacious deck wraps around two sides of the cabin, offering the perfect spot to sip your coffee (or tea — we love both!) while soaking in the sights and sounds of the forest. Birds singing, the gentle trickle of Fightingtown Creek... it’s pure, peaceful bliss you'll want to savor every day.
Step inside and you’ll be welcomed by the open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area — ideal for gathering and unwinding. The kitchen is fully stocked with modern appliances, including a 4-burner stainless steel electric stove, full-sized stainless steel fridge/freezer, and all the cookware and dinnerware you need to whip up your favorite meals. Serve them up around the cozy 6-seater dining table — just add good company!
After a day of exploring, cozy up in the family room featuring a plush L-shaped couch, a warm fireplace hearth, and a smart TV — perfect for movie marathons and snack attacks.
The lower level is where the real fun begins! This family game room is packed with classic games, a comfy couch, and even a dedicated board game room! — it’s a favorite hangout for kids and kids-at-heart. Step outside to the ground floor patio, where you can soak in the 7-person hot tub while soaking up views of the surrounding landscape. Feel like winding down by the fire? There's easy access to the beautifully landscaped fire pit area, complete with Adirondack chairs and woven swings. Let the crackling sounds of the fire alongside the babbling creek carry you away.

The Primary Suite
Located on the main level, the primary suite features a plush king bed, soft-as-a-cloud sheets, and direct access to the upper deck — perfect for stepping out with your morning coffee. The attached full bathroom includes sleek tile, a glass shower, and modern fixtures for a spa-like experience.
The Secondary Suite
Downstairs by the game room, this quiet queen suite is ideal for those who love a little extra privacy. It also has access to the lower-level porch and a full private bathroom with contemporary finishes and a stylish glass shower.
The Loft Room
Upstairs, the loft is a cozy haven that kids (and kids-at-heart) will absolutely love. It includes a twin bed with a pullout trundle, plus a twin-over-full bunk bed. While this room doesn’t have porch access, it does have its own full bath and a smart TV for winding down after a day of creekside adventures.
Each room is equipped with a smart TV and ultra-soft linens (100% cotton or equivalent) to ensure your stay is as relaxing as it is memorable.

Tucked along Fightingtown Creek, this spot is a dream for trout fishing lovers. Cast a line for hours of fun or kick back in an Adirondack chair and let the sound of the creek wash your worries away. Kids will have a blast running around the open field (with outdoor games from the game room!). Unwind in the 7-person hot tub after a day of adventure, or gather ‘round the fire pit for a cozy night under the stars.
◆INCLUDED WITH YOUR CABIN◆
We want to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible! Included in our cabin are:
- Plenty of extra pillows, blankets, and towels.
- Board and card games.
- Cooking and serving essentials (plates, bowls, silverware, wine and drinking glasses,
cooking utensils, kitchen accessories such as can openers, wine openers, measuring
spoons, and stainless steel pans, toaster, and more!
- We also provide base spices like salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Other cooking essentials or supplies that are sometimes provided include aluminum
foil, cling wrap, parchment paper, but we recommend bringing your own or
stopping by the local Walmart or Ingles as these can run out quickly.
- Modern appliances include a stainless steel refrigerator, microwave, 4-burner
electric oven and stovetop, drip coffee maker, phone charging alarm clocks, washer
and dryer, laundry detergent, and r/c fireplace.
House Supplies: Your home will be stocked with the following items:
- trash bags, paper towels, kitchen sponge, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher pods,
toilet paper, laundry detergent.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Are there extra charges for using the hot tub and bringing pets or extra guests?
A: We do not charge a fee to use the hot tub or any other amenities included in the home. We do charge a $150 non-refundable pet fee.
Regarding extra guests, the maximum occupancy is 9 guests, which includes adults and children(no extra guests).
Q: Can I park on the street?
A: NO street parking whatsoever. There is plenty of parking in the driveway to comfortably fit 4 cars.
Q: What time is check-in and check-out?
A: Check-in is after 5 PM local time, and check-out is no later than 11 AM local time to give our caretakers enough time to prepare the home for the next guest.
Q: Do you allow early check-in or late check-outs?
A: We can accommodate early check-ins and late check-outs if we do not have a guest in the cabin that same day. Please reach ask us if you wish to have an early check-in or check-out and we will do our best to accommodate!
Q: Will I need to meet the property manager to get a key to the cabin?
A: No, you will not need to meet the owners for the key. This cabin has a Yale Smart lock, please ensure you have received the access code before traveling.
Q: Can I ship a package to my home?
A: We do not recommend shipping directly to the home. We do not have mailbox keys, and many different people have access to the home: vendors, housekeeping, Guest Services staff, etc. So, we cannot be responsible for packages once delivered.
Q: Do your homes have an outdoor music system?
A: Most outdoor music systems are disabled due to noise complaints. We recommend bringing a small Bluetooth speaker since you can arrange it where you like, and it is easy to connect to! Absolutely no outside music past 10 PM. Only low decibel, no amplified speakers.
Q: Do you allow pets?
A: Our vacation rentals are dog-friendly. We only allow up to 2 hypoallergenic dogs under 30 lbs each, and there is a $150 pet fee (total, not per pet).
Q: Where is the nearest hospital?
A: The nearest hospital is Blue Ridge Medical Center, roughly 18 minutes away.
Q: Can I fish on Fightingtown Creek?
A: Yes! FightingTown Creek is accessible for trout fishing, all fish are catch-and-release. It’s still a relaxing experience and has some of the best views! Bring your own fishing pole and tackle, or pick up what you need at the Walmart in Downtown Blue Ridge.
Q: Do you have High Speed Wifi?
A: Yes!
Q: How are the hot tubs maintained?
A: After each guest, we thoroughly clean and refill the hot tub to ensure it's in pristine condition.
Q: How are the road conditions in the winter?
A: The roads are paved up to about 1 mile from the property. The final mile is a gravel path that is well-maintained for safe driving in the winter.
Q: What type of security system do you have in place?
A: We use smart locks that change codes with every guest who stays at our cabin. We also have security cameras on the grounds.
