"Hotel Antares suited us just fine, for our travel purposes. A friend and myself spent 2 nights at this hotel. We didn’t spend any time in the hotel, other than getting showered, dressed and sleeping, so for our purpose, it was fine. "This is an amazing find. It's a darling little villa in a residential neighborhood (quiet!). It's about 10 minute walk to a spectacular beach and two cafes. The house is spacious, very clean and has great features; roof top terrace with a view of the surrounding village and the water (we watched the eclipse and meteors at night, but too hot in mid day), two full bathrooms (one of them outdoors, which is wonderful - it's private), a very well equipped kitchen, a full dining and sitting area, a lovely front porch and surrounding yard. Barbara, our host, is absolutely wonderful. She's very easy to communicate with and is very welcoming. She really saved us when we had a ... situation... thank you Barbara!!!! It's in Llombards, (Calla Llombards is a famous beach, that you can walk to) which is a small village near the larger Santanyi (about 3-5k away. It's a beautiful town with great food. We caught a market day on a Wednesday). In my opinion you would need a car to take advantage of this location. There is parking on the street right in front. I would have no hesitation in renting this little house. I would rent again..... but maybe not in August! Ha!"
