Newly renovated rooms, very clean, but our bathroom was missing a towel rack. Looked like someone ripped it off accidentally. Beds were comfortable, and the restaurant was fabulous with really good food.

We had stayed at the Pinewood a few years ago but we’re not impressed. We were pleasantly surprised by all the upgrades made by the new management. The rooms were fresh and clean, the beds were comfortable and the parking free. Would recommend it.

At first I was disappointed at the rather drab decor in our room. But I soon came to realize that the room was very well appointed -- with a large and comfortable king-sized bed; a fridge and microwave oven; generous coffee/tea making facilities; more than adequate toiletries in the bathroom.... Our room was located at the back of the property and away from any traffic noise. Most important of all, our room and the bathroom were immaculately clean.

The hotel itself is old but the room is renovated. It looks old on the exterior and like a motel. But the room is clean, comfortable, and has everything I needed. TV, decor and some items are old. Part of the hotel is not renovated (lobby, part of hallway). Overall it was a good stay but don’t expect much.
