Stunning week at the Verdon Gorges

The villa was just as spectacular as the photos if not more so. The panoramic views from the property were incredible and the pool was a great way to cool off from the sun. There was a great restaurant just down the road with mini golf for the kids which was so practical. Lac d’Esparron, I would say is the prettier of the two lakes, but proximity to Lac de Sainte Croix is reasonable especially with the beautiful scenery on the journey. Would strongly recommend a holiday here. Great variation of pool time at the beautiful, rustic villa and outdoor activities. We would love to come back.

Extraordinary location

The house is situated on top of a hill with a widespread look around in the hills surrounding the Lac d'Esparron and the lake itself. It's a splendid view. The house itself has everything that one needs in holidays, the owner even provides bathing towels for the pool, also the kitchen has all items one could wish.We spent there two weeks and enjoyed also the possibility of a short walk down to the sea side, where you can swim as far as you wish. The water had at the end of august a fine temperature and as only electric boats are allowed, it is really calm there. The only thing that bothered us, was the fact, that around on the hill there are other houses for rent, and in august there are tourists, that don't obey to the rules and make parties in the night, which really destroys the peace of the southern french nights. Our second week in the beginning of september was better. If one seeks some rest and absolute calmness it is a game of luck in the peak travel period. We thank the owner for opening his house to tourists.

Comfortable and amazing location

We enjoyed this clean, comfortable and spacious 3 bedroom 3 bathroom house. Amazing location with the pool overlooking the Lake Esparron. Always a refreshing breeze so we were never hot inspite of the summer weather. Will definitely be back.

Le logement est top ! A refaire sans hésitation.La vue sur le lac est juste magique, encore mieux que sur les photos. Le calme environnant permet d'en profiter pleinement.La maison possède tout le nécessaire, que ce soit niveau cuisine, chambres ou buanderie.En bonus: l'accès direct au lac permettant de s'y baigner sans personne autour et sans besoin de prendre la voiture.Merci pour votre accueil !

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit einem herrlichen Blick. Die Bilder geben es wieder und versprechen nicht zu viel. Nette Gastgeber und eine unkomplizierte Handhabung.Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet was man sich wünschen kann. Negativ: Die Feuermelder waren alle abmontiert und der "Zugang zum See" führt durch fremde Grundstücke. Außerdem darf man es mit der Sauberkeit (wie generell in südlichen Regionen) nicht zu genau nehmen. Nichts für Kleinkinder, da der Pool zum Hang hin nicht abgesichert ist. Es geht dort schon einigermaßen steil runter. Das sollte man aber aufgrund der Fotos schon sehen.Insgesamt aber ein rundum gelungenes Urlaubsparadies mit guter Entfernung zu den umliegenden Naherholungsgebieten. Toller und sauberer Pool.

Eléments positifs : la vue bien-sûr, la piscine, la région, le calme. Cuisine très bien équipée, l'absence de moustiquesEléments négatifs : linge de lit en supplément et pourtant de très basse qualité (notamment une protection de matelas à la place d'un drap du dessous !! pour 25 /p !!). Et plus globalement un rapport qualité/prix surévalué par rapport à nos autres locations. La vue ne fait pas tout.

Vue exceptionnelle

Nous qui sommes habitués à louer des villas l'été, je dois admettre que la vue de la terrasse de celle-ci est la plus belle que nous ayons de toutes ! Un régal pour les yeux. Les plus : - la vue - le calme - la piscine, propre et assez spacieuse - cuisine bien équipée (bémol : les assiettes sont trop grandes pour entrer correctement dans le lave-vaisselle) - 3 salles de bain - Pas très loin de Gréoux les Bains, charmante petite ville. - Très rare : un nombre suffisant de transats ! très confortables, avec des coussins de bonne qualité. Les moins : - Une des douches à l'étage manque de pression (compliqué de se rincer les cheveux) - Le réfrigérateur est trop petit. Un autre, bien plus grand, se trouve dans une remise, mais située en dehors de la maison, ça n'est pas très commode. Le style est très rustique. Ca n'est pas spécialement à mon goût, mais cela plaît beaucoup à d'autres, je ne porte donc aucun jugement. D'autant plus qu'on le remarque bien dans l'annonce. En résumé, nous avons été très satisfaits de notre séjour !

Aussergewöhnliche Lage und Ruhe

Das Haus für 6 Personen hat eine außergewöhnlich gute Lage. Morgens auf der Terrasse frühstücken mit einer Aussicht wie auf einer Postkarte ist einfach genial. Super war die Private Zufahrt, so das keinerlei Durchgangsverkehr herrscht. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Liegen und Stühle sind neu. Wir wurden trotz der späteren Anreise persönlich Begrüßt und alle Fragen wurden beantwortet. Was zu erwähnen ist, dass der See vom Grundstück nicht einfach zu erreichen ist, gut zu Fuss und keine Angst vor Seepflanzen sind die Voraussetzung. Aber das war kein Problem, da der Pool außergewöhnlich schön ist. Uns hat also nichts gefehlt. Das Haus ist innen sehr großzügig geschnitten, gepflegt und individuell gestaltet. Die Vermieterin überlässt einem ein sehr Sauberes Haus und sorgt für ein Wohlbefinden von beginn an und ist stehts erreichbar, sollten Fragen aufkommen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Woche.

Perfekter Urlaubsort

Wir hatten zwei herrlich erholsame Wochen in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Allein der Blick ist Erholung pur. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet, der Pool ein Traum, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ein paar Kilometer entfernt. Ein sehr netter und unkomplizierter Kontakt mit der Vermieterin! Vielen Dank! Wir kommen sicher noch einmal!

Außen traumhaft,drinnen ausbaufähig

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in Esparron-de-Verdon. Die Aussicht ist wie auf den Bildern zu sehen einfach atemberaubend. Abzüge gibt es allerdings für die Sauberkeit im Haus, welche wirklich hätte besser sein können. Das Objekt ist außerdem ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern erfolgte in unserem Fall ausschließlich auf französisch, ein Austausch in englischer Sprache war nicht möglich. Alles in allem haben wir unseren Aufenthalt aber sehr genossen.

Une jolie maison d'architecte avec une vue incroyable ... dont on ne se lasse pas

Endroit incroyable, la vue est magnifique, une maison d'architecte bien pensée, cosy, bien équipée, ... exactement et encore mieux que sur les photos, une maison d'où l'on peut admirer le lever du soleil et son coucher et en profiter à chaque instant, petits coins ici et là, pour en profiter confortablement, baie vitrée plein est, petite terrasse à l'est, grande terrasse plein sud et ouest, fenêtres tout autour, chaque pièce à sa petite vue sur la nature, ... les sofas dans le salon invitent à un moment de détente avec vue ;o), le ciel et la nature offrent un spectacle à chaque jour différent, on ne se lasse pas de le regarder ... La terrasse, la piscine presque à débordement, juste incroyable aussi. Nous avons été très bien accueillis à notre arrivée ... Un endroit où l'on peut profiter tout en se sentant en sécurité. Nous y avons passé une très belle semaine avec notre chien ;o) .Merci et belle continuation
