You can`t get much closer to the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park than Mi Mountain Casa. This 1-floor family friendly 3BR is minutes from groceries, restaurants, & fishing. The area serves as a wildlife corridor between Giant Track and Prospect Mountains (epic views!) so animals abound (22-ZONE3383)

A FEW HOUSE RULES
+ No check-ins earlier than 4 or checkouts later than 10; cleaners have no idea what condition their other units were left in and need to plan their schedule.
+ No smoking inside or out; no wood-burning fire pits; no parties; no pets.
+ Charcoal grills are banned in Estes; our gas grill is OK.
+ 2 cars & 6 guests max.
+ Our cleaning fee lower than 60% of other homes its size because guests are asked to start a load of towels and dishes at checkout. This saves the cleaners a whole wash cycle`s worth of time.
+ This is a townhome so you will have neighbors and a shared wall.

OUR HOME
Here`s an easy itinerary for a perfect day: Sip your morning coffee while elk and deer graze on native grasses just steps away from your patio. Then head into Rocky Mountain National Park, a five minute drive. Hike yourself silly, and then stop at Estes Park`s best restaurant, 1 minute away, for dinner or cocktails. Head home for a movie night, and crash into a comfy bed. Rinse and repeat!
We chose to build our new home here because we loved how close our property is to all the things that we hold dear in Estes Park: hiking, fishing, great food and drink, and amazing views.
When you return to Mi Mountain Casa, you can enjoy a great movie night on a huge smart TV or prep an award-winning meal in our fully stocked kitchen.

BATHROOMS
One bathroom is in the master suite (tub/shower and toilet) while the other bathroom is in the hallway just off the kitchen (walk-in shower and toilet).
ENTERTAINMENT
Our home features an open living/dining/kitchen area, which we built so we could encourage people to hang out! We have some games, a huge smart TV, an attached outdoor patio and grill, and big windows with big views of Lumpy Ridge and Rocky Mountain National Park.
COOKING
Our kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to whip up delicious meals. There`s lots of cookware, utensils, and small appliances. Our kitchen is ready to accommodate your culinary adventures!
LAUNDRY
Feel free to use the washer and dryer in our laundry room.
Guests have access to our property:
- 3 bedrooms
- 2 bathrooms
- Laundry room
- A kitchen/dining/living area
- An outdoor patio with seating and a grill
The garage is used for owner storage.

Mi Mountain Casa is nestled between Giant Track Mountain and Prospect Mountain Open Space, just outside of Rocky Mountain National Park. It`s a wildlife corridor with diverse animals like elk, deer, birds of prey, coyotes, and bobcats. Marys Lake is a minute away for fishing, and there`s a supermarket and the famous Bird and Jim restaurant a minute in the other direction. The entry station to Rocky Mountain National Park is just five minutes away.
In summer, a free shuttle bus circulates in Estes Park, including the National Park. Catch it at Stop 3 (Manor RV Park) or Stop 4 (National Park Village, close to Country Supermarket). It`s a 15-minute walk or a one-minute drive.
NO SMOKING, NO FIRES
My home was about a mile away from one of the largest forest fires in Colorado history a few years ago, so we are a strict no-smoking property. No smoking inside, outside, and no outdoor fire pits (now illegal in Estes Park`s vacation homes). Charcoal BBQs are banned; gas ones like ours are allowed.
ROAD CONDITIONS
Estes has a great plow team and our driveway will also be plowed during storms, but if there`s a huge blizzard, they may not be plowed exactly when you need them to be. We cannot assist if you get stuck and we always recommend that people rent AWD or 4WD when visiting us from October to May. We are at 8,000 feet and this can be a snowy area!
NONPAYING GUESTS
Insurance forbids nonpaying/non-registered guests on the property.
AIR CONDITIONER
Like nearly every other home in town, there’s no A/C. Thankfully mountain air blows down from the high peaks and will cool down the place quickly in the evenings if you open the windows and turn on the fans.
BEARS
Do NOT leave food in your car! Bears frequent this area often and can break in!
MINUT
We use a Minut noise meter. It doesn`t record audio, but instead monitors decibel levels, temperature and humidity. This is for the safety of guests & to protect the home. It also serves to warn us about parties & prevent noise complaints from neighbors. It`s located on the ceiling of the hallway leading into the living room.
* After booking, guests may be asked to review and accept a standard rental agreement covering house rules, safety disclosures, liability, and damage responsibility. This agreement does not modify pricing, cancellation terms, or refund policies presented on Vrbo and is intended to be consistent with Vrbo’s terms and the listing details.
+ No parties, loud noises, unregistered guests
+ Quiet hours from 9pm to 8am.
+ You`re renting a townhome with a shared wall; you may have neighbors
+ No smoking
+ Wood burning fire pits and charcoal grills are illegal in Estes vacation homes due to high fire danger. Our gas grill is allowed.
+ Self check in after 4pm and check out before 10am, no exceptions
