“Best little wilderness stay I think I've ever had.....secluded from traffic....no city noise....host were very kind and sociable....planning on going there again and again”

“This place is a gem. The cabin was meticulously appointed. Everything looks as though it’s brand new. I would put this host in the top 1% of those I have encountered. They communicated well and proactively. Extremely helpful and accommodating. Not to mention that they’re just nice people. I even knocked off a bucket list item by catching my first gar here. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Owners were great. Rooms very clean. We’ll definitely be back”

“This cabin was the perfect little spot for a weekend. All of the amenities down by the water (picnic tables, floaties, extra chairs) and the nice appliances inside (pans, knife set, plenty of extra blankets, gas grill) made it easy to pack light and still have a very pleasant trip.”

“We enjoyed the cabin very much. The one exception was the road in and out of the property. I reported it to the call center as impassable. I incurred damage to my vehicle due to the poor condition of the road. This while crawling up the road no more than a few miles per hour. Totally unacceptable. The call center was rude and at times not understandable due to very heavy foreign accents. I was wondering who owns the road? Is it private? County owned? All questions asked the call center who……

“Very friendly and helpful”

“Wonderful place to stay! Cozy cabin with really neat decor and an old time theme! Hosts were great and accommodating! Truly enjoyed our stay!”

“Dark and creepy if you’re a single female staying alone. Shower and toilet are a short distance to walk to at night with minimal light. The owners are on site which was comforting to know after realizing who the random lady was that in fact scared the heck out of my guest by beating on the window of their vehicle. Overall not extremely terrible but probably wouldn’t stay there again.. ”

“We had an amazing time on the trip! The host was amazing with communication and answering any questions that came up. The caboose itself was super comfortable and spacious. We really appreciated the pet friendly aspect and our dog had a wonderful time on the property!”

“Really enjoyed my stay. I was not expecting the view of the cove, which was fantastic. Would like to stay there again in the future.”

“Diane was wonderful to deal with, she had great communication and went above and beyond to make sure our group had everything we needed and had a great time!”

“Such a beautiful property! The house is so cute and had plenty of space for my family of 5. The views from the decks are amazing and the area you have for swimming in the lake is like its own little private cove. Communication with host was super easy. Pools on the resort were a nice additional option. We had our dog along, just a note the property is all stones, no grass, that was an adjustment for our dog but was fine. Plenty of safe road to walk with him along instead.”
