“Nice place. Good walking distance to downtown and restaurants, etc.”

“My room can hear some certain sounds of the machine starting up every ten minutes...no idea where it came from. Others were good. Breakfast was good enough. ”

“We enjoyed our stay at aloft. It was conveniently located in downtown Greenville. The staff was very nice. Parking was free and very easy to access from lobby check in. The lobby bar and area had great coffee, pool table and happy hour specials. Our room was a little small and not the cleanest when we arrived. They don’t give you many towels. But we requested room to be serviced daily and that was helpful. Overall we enjoyed our time.”

“We stayed in a room with a balcony facing the water. There’s a large parking deck and it’s not crazy expensive (we paid $10 for an overnight stay). The hotel is in an excellent location and offers quite a few amenities. For example, you are offered two free drinks and snacks each evening. The complimentary breakfast includes an omelette bar, as well as other hot and cold options. There are a couple of restaurants right in the building- a steakhouse and a rooftop restaurant with great views. Beds……

“What a great hotel in the heart of Greenville. Beautiful lobby, helpful staff, and the rooms were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!”

“Convenient location. Not overly walkable to the main part of downtown unless you are in for w long walk. Rooms were comfortable. Parking is free onsite. Only two minor issues - pool was green and we got a call 10 minutes past check out time to hurry us along. We were on our way out but it just felt pushy and not a great way to leave.”

“Not impressed. We could not get any hallway lights to work to better see the stairway when we came in at 9:30pm. There was hair all over the sheets on the bed, and the bed cover was stained all over as well. The toilet was so close to the sink cabinet that I could barely sit down to use it and a shower mat that didn’t look like it gets washed very often so we didn’t use it. The shower curtain had mold on it. There was an outlet that only one plug-in would work which was nearest to the table and……

“The lobby and room was musty smelling. Mostly coming from A/C. Also paint peeling from walls in lobby and room. And I mean lots of peeling. All trim on the floor looked rusty and very dirty. The back of the door looked the same. Smoke detector was dusty and dirty as well. All around A/C looks as bad as everything thing else i mentioned. Sheet and bed spread has a burn hole in them. I believe this is a non smoking hotel. Has stain on ceiling. Could be mold. But im not an expert.”
