Despite prepaying through a third-party booking partner affiliated with the hotel, I was surprised upon check-in to be asked for my card for a $50 incidental charge, only to discover later that nearly $500 had been charged to my account for the stay, yet again. Additionally, an unexplained $100 charge appeared later on. Despite attempting to reach the front desk twice by phone, no one answered. Subsequently, when I went down in person, I waited for 5-10 minutes without any staff assistance or callbacks. After about an hour, I called again and spoke to G, who was exceptionally helpful and understanding. He promptly investigated the issue and provided an explanation within 15 minutes, attributing the error to the individual who checked me in. What's frustrating is the lack of direct communication from the staff member who made the mistake; instead, she promised her manager would contact me, which never happened. Mistakes can happen, but a $600 discrepancy without clarification is concerning. However, G's exceptional service and dedication to resolving the issue are commendable. If I were to return to this location, it would be solely due to the outstanding service provided by individuals like G.
