I paid almost 400.00 for one night. It was a total disappointment! The carpet was old and dirty. The furniture was in terrible condition. The breakfast was all processed sugary and cheap food. Totally unhealthy for most people. customer service was nonexistent. A fair price for that motel would have been 120.00 - 140.00 a night. I felt unsafe and depressed in that place. Never again!

Redwood Suites is like stepping back into time…around late 60’s early 70’s decor. That said, the room was clean and kitchen was pretty well appointed. Shower is tiny. Continental breakfast available in the Hotel across the street and there was in room coffee available. The pub in the main hotel is excellent.

This place is all about location. The experience in a 2-room suite was like staying at the home of an elderly relative who hasn’t updated their furnishings since the 70s. The rooms were spacious but a bit musty and quite worn. But it’s half a block to the main street so overall it’s a good choice if you don’t mind the thin walls and shag carpeting.

Everything in town is walking distance. You have a full kitchen with everything to cook with full-size refrigerator. It’s like a little apartment. My only complaint is the bed is a little hard, but I’m used to a super soft bed at home. I love this place and I stay here every time I am visiting Ferndale

The suite we stayed was roomy, the pots and plates in the kitchen was adequate. However the pillows and bed sheets smelled like sweat and old. We didn’t find out until like 11pm, the front desk closed at 8pm. We were so tired from the day’s activities that we decided to sleep on the top of the bed with clothes on instead waiting for bed sheets to be changed which I don’t know how long it would take. I complained the next morning, the front desk did say that we should have called. Well, it shouldn’t happen in the first place. We did stay at the sister hotel Victorian Inn a couple days ago when we first started doing the redwood road trip. We didn’t have the bed sheets problems there.
