We stayed for two nights at this location and I will say that staff is excellent and the building itself is well maintained outside and very clean inside (waiting area, bar, restaurant, kitchen and gym). The property is extremely quiet and is in a small, quiet, older town. Seems a little run down but is quiet and safe.
The breakfast included is wonderful; so many options and delicious. The kitchen area is clean and tidy, as staff cleans as people come and go, and restock food and drinks consistently before anything fully runs out.
The pool is one of the reasons I didn’t give 5 stars. The pool and the pool area look clean upon entry, but upon further “inspection” I feel the pool water could be more clean. Also, as my kids swam, they found clumps of hair multiple times. You can’t see it if you look at the water though, it just happened to get stuck to their hands as they swam. They put the hair clumps on the floor, near the edge of the pool, to get it off their hands and when we went back the next day, all the hair was still on the floor and the water that got splashed on the windows was dry and left streaks and was very unappealing.
Lastly, the main reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because of our room. It could have been cleaned more thoughtfully. I found crumbs in the pullout couch bed, one of the blankets on the bed had a couple of stains and the comforters are dingy and old looking, and the carpet had so many stains, so many.
