Volovron: a unique viewpoint over the Upper Val d'Hérens
The Volovron mayens are located above Evolène, on a sunny terrace with a magnificent view of all the peaks of the upper Val d'Hérens: Dent d'Hérens 4,171m, Dent Blanche 4,347m, Mont Collon, Pigne d'Arolla, Dents de Veisivi, etc. A carriage road provides easy access up to 200m from the chalet. However, the chalet is perfectly isolated. It stands at an altitude of 1,800 metres and faces due south.
